Great food all of which are vegan. Try a pepperoni and mozzarella panini with a cupcake. You won't be disappointed

Delicious food and great atmosphere - Edit

The Dice Cup only serve light refreshments rather than full meals, but they're all delicious. Their paninis are the best I've had and they always have a huge number of cakes. The prices are very reasonable too.

The atmosphere is very friendly and whether you go to play board games or just for the food, you're always very welcome.

There is an adorable and incredibly laid back dog sometimes hanging around (no where near the food) which wouldn't be great if you had allergies but is super cute otherwise.

Where else could you get such tasty vegan food and also pet a cute dog?

Pros: Great atmosphere, Friendly staff, Delicious food

Cons: Nothing

Fun, friendly experience. - Edit

The Dice Cup is a great cafe that I recommend to anyone who enjoys tabletop gaming and Vegan food! The whole menu is Vegan and has different food ranging from light lunches to cakes made by The Vegan Cakery. The staff are also very helpful and friendly and will help if you need help finding games to your taste.

A good place with great potential - Edit

The Dice Cup is a super friendly place with staff that really care about your health, the health of the community and the health of the planet. The menu is limited at present but, staff have mentioned several things they plan to do in future. I can't wait for the Soup of the Day options to start and for them to get enough fridge space for fresh veg and salads made on the premises. Prices are super reasonable compared to other Vegan options in the area and are even better with one of their membership packages. Staff are more than willing to accommodate special requests as well. Plus, boardgames and regularly scheduled special events (The Speedquiz on Sunday evenings is my favourite).

Pros: Great Staff, Locally owned and socially conscious, Boardgames and special events

Great space - Edit

The Dice Cup stocks cakes from the wonderful Vegan Cakery. They usually have a good selection available as well as lighter lunch options e.g toasties. The mille feuille is unbelievably delicious! Everything is vegan too. If you like board games you're in for a treat as the range available is impressive. If like me though you're not a board gamer, you can still pop in or take food away. The staff make you feel very welcome and are happy to chat. The dog is really friendly and not at all smelly as suggested by another reviewer!!!

Pros: Good value, Good selection , Friendly staff and dog :)

Favourite place. - Edit

The only 100% vegan cafe in the centre of Nottingham. Delicious food, brilliant staff, top dog. The board games are a bonus as something to keep you occupied, but I can spend hours upon hours here. The best vegan cake you will find, with chocolate and marshmallow brownies, rose and pistachio cake, and even banoffee pies! With plans to expand the kitchen as well, this places can only grow and improve. Fantastic considering they're only in their first year of business.

Pros: Entirely vegan, great staff, board games are a bon

A surprise vegan eatery - Edit

I was totally not expecting to find vegan food here! Thanks Happy Cow for alerting me to its veganness! If you like playing board games etc this would be a great place to hang out with friends for the afternoon but I was alone and called in for a takeaway sosage roll and a delicious slice of cake! Spread the word!

Alternative vegan cafe - Edit

You don't have to be a gamer to go here, just a lover of The Vegan Cakery's cakes, served with a vegan panini and a soya latte! 100% vegan menu including plant milks in tea and coffee. The place is enormous and usually half empty, but the staff are super friendly and it's the only place in Nottingham you'll find vegan Mille Feuille, kreem donuts, cupcakes and more. Opposite Natural Foods on Mansfield Road.

Pros: Vegan cream cakes, Hot vegan paninis, Soya milk for tea and coffee

Cons: No music, just gamer-talk for atmosphere

Not much choice - Edit

I wouldn't really describe this place as a 'café' per say, it felt more like going to your needy uncle's house for a vegan panini and an over priced game of Disney Trivia. The games are great and the staff super friendly (including their smelly dog) but I wouldn't recommend going there for lunch.
