Classic vegan platter

The phone number on their website and on Gog. was not connecting. Found a different number on Tripad., that was answered.
I booked for two for later that evening and said we were vegan.

We arrived and our sharing platter arrived five minutes later… we hadn’t yet seen a menu! So we guess, that this was the only vegan option. We asked for drinks menu.

The platter was so similar to what we’ve tried in London and NY, the food was reliably delicious and nutritious.
(Not at all spicy but think we should have asked for some of the homemade chilli sauce offered to the other table of two)

There are no desserts, just coffee - the lady said it was strong and would keep us up!

With one beer and large sparking mineral water we paid £41 without seeing a bill breakdown.

Not fancy, no bells and whistles, just home made, wholefood, comfort food…!

Pros: Homemade, Wholesome , Prompt

Cons: No menu, No bill breakdown

Divine

Lots of vegan dishes on offer including a vegan platter for two. Ethiopian food is perfectly suited to vegans with many dishes having a lentil or chickpea base. Coffee ceremony also delicious. Selection of beers available also.

Pros: Food was divine

Cons: Toilets could be cleaner

Nice

So I really enjoyed the food I had here. Don’t know what it was called (see photo) but basically it was the only vegan option on the menu 😂 so for that reason, won’t be back for a while - however definitely worth a try

The injera and the vegan savouries that came with it very beautiful. Great presentation, lovely personal service and the fresh roasted coffee experience was a lovely surprise! #Veganuary

Amazing vegan food!

Absolutely fantastic food. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. We’ve had Ethiopian food in New York and London but this was just as good.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Owner fully understands veganism , Authentic food
