Chill place - Edit
This restaurant, merged with Cosmic, shows that local food can be plant-based without losing its taste.

Best vegan tapas in Manila! - Edit
We went here on Good Friday: Unfortunately they did not serve any cocktails this day. However, the food made up for it! We had an amazing selection of 7 different tapas dishes (all solo size) for two people. Everything was insanely tasty. Such a nice place for great vegan tapas, 100% recommended!

Good. - Edit
Good but I ordered all wrong :(
Read moreFirst of all, cosmic which was downstairs has moved into this space, and I was only given their menu. Which is delicious, but not totally what I wanted. I got the solo mushroom miso so obv still hungry, so next I ordered the unpork siomai rice. Also good, but it was at this point I inquired about the other menu and come to find out, it was partially available so I got the seacharon “with salted vegan egg”, but it actually doesn’t come with vegan egg at all.. it’s just seasoned with black salt. Shoulda went for the tofu or corn ribs, and I didn’t even have a chance to get into the mains. But at this point I was already there for way too long and the seating isn’t the most comfortable especially after I was sitting at work all day, and I was just annoyed bc I came to gnostic bc I wanted that menu, not cosmic bc I’ve already ate there in the past. Anyways, the flan was amazing as was the calimansi iced tea. I normally don’t complain on here and everything tasted great and the people were so nice.. I just wish I had known all my options up front. Guess I’ll just have to come back!

They're offering a big selection of vegan meals. Many of them are filipino meals made vegan and are really delicious!

Great cookies, great restaurant - Edit
The menu and place looks great. I would call this a restaurant rather than a bar. We only tried cookies because it was closing time.
Read moreUpdate: spicy soy "chicken" and mushroom pizza are good too. Was lively on Sunday evening.

Racist and classist waiters - Edit
Would not sit me and my sister despite our reservation because we were wearing simple clothes (we live nearby) but a foreign couple comes in and they were immediately seated even though we were still standing and it was 30minutes beyond our reservation already. The waiters, instead of saying sorry, berated us.

Vegan sigsig - Edit
Llegamos tarde y no nos dan de comer pero nos ofrecen vegan sigsig para llevar al hotel (lo tenemos cerca) y ha sido el sigsig más sabroso. Hoy volveremos a cenar ahí antes de dejar el país.

Super cool - Edit
Super cool vegan and non-alcoholic bar in Población. Loved the laksa and their kimchi is really good. Also, of course, a pletoria of fun mocktails to try out. Recommended ! :)

Fun new kid in town - Edit
Gnostic is a very small place with a great vibe. (Check out their Insta.) They’re a fully vegan dry bar with some tasty meal options (soups, pasta, pizza, and sides) and delicious desserts.
Read moreI really liked the Vutter Cream Miso pasta. It had a savory creamy mushroom sauce but was very garlicky (4⭐️); throwing some steamed broccoli or other veg on top would definitely make it a full 5⭐️. The Agedashi tofu was also pretty good (4⭐️). My husband liked, but didn’t love, the Laksa (3⭐️), and I felt the same about my drink, my Pink Rosas Mojito. I preferred his Spiced Apple Cider (4⭐️). They also serve coffee which I’m eager to try next time.
Their apple pie and v-egg pie were quite a treat though (both 5⭐️)! However, we didn’t like the nori cookie at all.
Overall, this is a cute place with tasty vegan comfort food that will be in our monthly rotation.
NB: At night, this place is packed. You’ll have an easier time getting a table at lunch.
