It’s been so long since I had poutine fries! This place is pretty great. Good portions, stuff doesn’t seem like warmed-up frozen food. Very happy with it.

Came in here based on the good reviews and was very happy with the food and service. Drive almost an hour to check this place out. Had the gyro fries, gyro sandwich, pastrami sandwich, macho burrito, and took a bunch of donuts home and another set of gyro fries. Over all spent about $80. Their sodas are delicious also.

Read moreI've been there several times and I'm never disappointed. Their homemade seitan is to die for! Get it in the Gyros or Ruben or pastrami sandwiches. The gentle fries are awesome and add feta cheese whenever possible!

I know 2 different people who have worked here, not only do they treat the employees terrible, they don’t get breaks or lunch, and are overworked on top of it. Both of the people I know were fired for reasons unknown to them, one was even told she was stealing.. they were told to tell customers that the donuts are GF but the management isn’t even forsure that they are GF, they were marketing donuts with non vegan ingredients as vegan!! Honestly if you are a real vegan I wouldn’t go here, bc they could be feeding you non vegan foods. Honestly this place is just a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I absolutely love Gentle Grill! I’ve been multiple times since I found out about it awhile ago, I can honestly say that everything I’ve had has been delicious! Sometimes the staff can be kind of meh sometimes, but they’re usually pretty good. It’d be nice if they had more than donuts for dessert, but I’m just super happy to have an all vegan restaurant, finally.

We found this place thanks to Happy Cow. If you are near Temecula, go here! We ordered a chicken sandwich, pulled pork and beyond burger and all were prepared perfectly. Making a detour to visit again on our journey back!

Good for people that aren’t into being a very healthy vegan. It has a lot of fake meat and dairy options (some that are amazing and some that aren’t). I personally love the backyard burger as it’s the first bbq vegan burger I’ve had that doesn’t taste slightly weird.

It's a cute, small restaurant with a nice variety on the menu. Everything we ate was so good and definitely worth the money. So nice to finally have a good vegan restaurant nearby! 9/10 would recommend!

This is definitely one of the top three best vegan places I've ever eaten at. Ever! And I've been a lot of places. We had the gyro and the backyard burger. Amazing! If I had the space in my belly, I would probably eat everything on the menu as I don't live locally and won't get back here soon. Prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly. Incredible menu. Lots of choices, from sandwiches and loaded fries to bowls and salads.

Homemade seitan is on point! - Edit
They use their own homemade seitan for the gyro, Reuben, and pastrami sandwiches (maybe in others as well). It’s seasoned perfectly well and adjusted for the different dishes. The gyro is the most popular dish on the menu, and rightly so, as it is fantastic! The seitan, feta, and taziki sauce were all a great combo. The cauliflower wings were a bit soggy, not as crispy as would be preferred, but the buffalo sauce was the perfect mixture of spice. The Reuben sandwich was one of the best we’ve had on our travels- thousand island dressing, homemade seitan, and sauerkraut- SO good. Everything was delicious

i’ve been twice and the gyro is delicious! next time i got the blt and my mom got the cabo bowl and we were unimpressed. but i know it’s a new restaurant so i will give them some time to work out that new restaurant kinks and i’m sure it’ll be a phenomenal spot

While The Gentle Grill deserves accolades for establishing the first solely Vegan restaurant in Temecula, it suffers from some of the typical deficiencies of many of the same genre.

The featured sandwiches are sparse on green vegetables, and emphasize meat substitutes. The sandwich combo adds a drink and oil fried potatoes rather than offering an optional side salad. One may add a salad but this will cost an additional $10.00 or more to an expensive lunch.
The house salad dressing is oil based and the bread is not Whole Grain.
The sandwiches were tasty, but the BBQ sauce was a bit added- sugar sweet.
Pros: Dedicated Vegan Restaurant in Temecula, Tasty Sandwiches
Cons: Oil Fried Potatoes and Onion Rings, Bread not Whole Grain, Side Salad not offered with sandwich combo.

When we were at Sale Ranch Animal Sanctuary, we were told excitedly about Temecula’s first all-vegan restaurant, which just opened a few months ago. So after visiting the animals, we paid them a visit. The place was bright and inviting, and full of customers! Yay!

I don’t know what sorcery they use to make their seitan so good, but I swear to you this gyro tasted exactly like a “regular” gyro, except for the fact that it wasn’t greasy and didn’t put me in a food coma when I was done. 10/ 10.
