Read moreUpdate: The menu has grown but now it's eh... the pulled pork is pretty flavorless, the last ruben I got did not have the twang of the first and they have a strawberry tart and a blueberry tort. I got the blueberry.... yuck! I couldn't eat it. Small flavor terrible texture.
Pros: Spectacular flavors
Cons: A little pricey but you get what you pay for.

When you are really craving a burger, gyro, or burrito but you have gone vegan? Look no further than Gentle Grill! They have a little bit of everything, including a kid’s menu! You don’t have to worry about your non-vegan friends or family here because the food is so good, they won’t mind that there is no beef to be found in their burger or pulled pork in their BBQ sandwich! If you haven’t gone to this gem, you should!

Read through some reviews on here and Yelp and saw a few recommendations for the gyro. Was not disappointed! I also tried the gentle fries which by the way is so much better than In N Out animal fries. It’s only my first visit but I’ll definitely try to stop here again anytime I’m in the area or passing through.

Stopped here after a beach day in San Diego and it was an awesome choice. We were extremely hungry so we ordered the macho burrito, health nut salad, poutine style fries along with seasoned fries.
Read moreAll of the food was very good and pretty filling, especially the macho burrito. The burrito was an absolute monster of a burrito that I was able to finish throughout the drive back home.
Overall the food was good and I’ll definitely stop here again during any road trip that has us in the Temecula area.

Stopped off on journey from Corona to Dan Diego on the 15. Easy to find. Plenty of parking nearby. We had their buffalo cauliflower, gyro, special fries and BLTA. Gyro was great..soft fresh pita bread..tasty and fresh ingredients. BLTA was flavorful although “bacon” was a little tough. Their special menu fries were a treat...yum. Buffalo cauliflower had very good flavor, but a little overcooked (soft) for my taste...the combination with their dipping sauce was DELISH! Will definitely stop off there in the future to try more of their menu.

The World Needs More Gentle Grill - Edit
This is the kind of restaurant that I wish was a chain with locations all over. The world would be a happier and more delicious place. Cute place, friendly staff, and an awesome variety of menu options ranging from healthy and fresh to stick-to-your-ribs comfort classics.

Don't forget dessert! They carry a variety of amazing vegan donuts by a local baker called Kre8tive Bites (who also specializes in gluten free, sugar free, allergy friendly options - look them up, they're fantastic!)

As I was ordering, another woman picking up her order happened to have ordered the exact same thing as me, but was asking them to change it mid-cooking. The tickets got mixed up in the shuffle. But the team was so fast and apologetic to fix it, it was no big deal at all. They even offered me a free dessert; I chose a lavender blueberry doughnut that was muffin-texture and tasted so fresh and light.
The food was TO DIE FOR. I have been to several all vegan restaurants, and all have been great. But there was something different about Gentle Grill...
The menu had options that I have never seen. A Greek gyro with seitan and a feta cheeze, for instance, which is what I ordered. It was huge, stuffed to the brim with deliciously peppered seitan, veggies, tzatziki, and feta, all in a deliciously warm pita. I thought, "how am I going to eat all this?" But I somehow managed, as we often do when FOOD IS TO DIE FOR.
I also ordered the gentle style fries and, wouldn't you know it, they were the best fries I've ever had. These aren't your basic french fried. They were thick, crinkle cut fries that were crisped on the outside to perfection, and tender on the inside. The sauce and toppings were delightfully sweet with a little tang; unexpected and OVER-THE-TOP delicious!
And the pricing is so reasonable! Typically I would only go out to eat a couple times a month, because vegan restaurants are sometimes expensive. But with prices like these, I would find it hard not to go a couple times a week!
Basically I am obsessed with the Gentle Grill restaurant now, and I wish so bad that I lived in Tamecula so I could have more frequent access to it. 100% recommend. I hope they grow and thrive and, as a result, can open a restaurant in the Inland Empire so I can get my fix ♡

I highly recommend this place. My husband got the Reuben and poutin fries - it was amazing! I had a bite. It was the most convincing Reuben we have had as vegans and he tries them every time he sees it on the menu our. I ordered the raw bowl it was really good! The Italian dressing and chimichuri sauce complimented well. We split a pumpkin chocolate chip doughnut! OMG it was out of this world delicious. Wished we had bought more!

We stopped here on our way up to Idyllwild and so glad we did. I got the gyro and added feta while my mom got the cauliflower bites and both were amazing! I can’t wait to go back!

Amazing vegan gyros! - Edit
I take every opportunity to drive through Temecula so I can get the amazing gyros at Gentle Grill. Pay the extra buck to get vegan feta on top - it is superb! Even the pita is extra special - soft and very fresh-tasting. I often get extras to take home for the next day, with the feta on the side so I can reheat the gyros and then add the feta on top. I'm seriously obsessed!

The first round here I got the breakfast burrito and honestly it was the best vegan breakfast I have come across. The second time, I got the one love burrito and it was awesome. My only warning is if you don’t like spicy you may want to pass because it has a little tang in each bite. It’s a cute little place and offer awesome desserts as well

Read moreI’ve liked everything I’ve tried here! Also/ Gentle Grill catered our wedding! (Note- special wedding menu not on their normal menu!) They did skewers with peanut sauce and bruschetta for cocktail hour, health nut salad starter, chick’n Marsala, mock lobster, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts and green beans with almonds. KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! Our mostly non-vegan guests loved the food.
For the restaurant- the burritos are really good too and I love the cauliflower buffalo bites so much!

We love Gentle Grill for both the fantastic food and the great staff. The area has long needed a vegan restaurant and GG delivered! The gyro and gyro fries are probably my favorite dishes, but the Rueben, burritos and burgers are right up there too, but if they have the baclava, you need to get it, seriously.
