Best restaurant I've been - Edit
People was lovely, the place is cute, great localization, price was good but, more important, food was delightfull: Pad Thai, Gnoccis and the Smoked Rolls were almost unbeliveable. We stayed three days in Ljubljana and we went twice. It's a must if you travel to Slovenia!

The server was really helpful explaining the dishes and the portion sizes. The gnocchi starter with mushroom sauce was very small, but wow, it was SO tasty. The tempura starter (maybe 10 pieces, so a big starter!) curry and bread were great too, but the gnocchi was something else!
Read moreWe went back a few days later, mainly to have the gnocchi again, but it was different - same name on the menu but it was made with different ingredients - we were so sad!!! It still tasted good but we were gutted not to get the same mushroom and truffle gnocchi. This version had radicchio and pine nuts instead. There was also a lot less bread!😒Still great service though!

Thanks to the reviews we booked a table in the morning. Then .. we had a whole day of rain in Ljubljana and that effected our mood a little bit. But this place made it worth it!! My omni friend was also really impressed (we have had vegan fine dining, but this was a really stand out for him). Especially the bread needs a special mentioning, really good.

One of the best vegan restaurants ever - Edit
If you’re in Ljubljana and you’re vegan you cannot miss this restaurant! It’s very popular so book in advance. The service was excellent and we felt very well looked after. The food was divine including the most delicious desserts. We had a lovely bottle of white wine which was not expensive. A really fantastic experience. I can’t recommend it enough.

Very nice. The tables where wide and spread out nicely over the space. There was enough privacy but still cozy. Seats were comfortable and the bathroom was clean.
The food:
We had the five course menu with wine paring.
When we started with the amuse and sparkling wine we got homemade bread at the table. The texture and flavour of the bread was AMAZING! Actually, the flavours of the whole menu where amazing. Everything was very well balanced. The creamy gnocci with truffle and the signature dish with kale, cashew and rice where my absolute favourites. If I could advise you, please add this restaurant to you *mustvisit* list. You will not regret this.
The wine:
First of all, the host was very kind and greatly skilled. He calculated the wine paring not only great with the food but also adjusted the paring to our taste. It was bold, brave and perfectly matched. We’ve tasted Slovenian wines, all unique in flavour. We had an orange wine, aged on wood, juicy and ridge. For me there where 2 winners, the Poanta Reia and the Sumenjak Alter. Amazing! If you don’t have to drive, just go for the wine paring and let the host surprise you.
Overall:
Amazing, great food and wine. Very good service and nicely priced. Would recommend this to everyone, vegans, vegetarians, flexitarians and meat/fish eaters. A true pearl of Ljubljana.

You have to reservate in order to get a table for dinner. When you arrive, the waiters are a bit slow and you feel like they are ignoring you after they seated you (thats why I only give 4 stars). But the food and the ambience! I want to come back. But unfortunately they are closed on the weekend.

They gave us a 1 liter tapwater bottle without asking, also bread and greetings from the kitchen. And everything for free! It was the feeling of fine dining without beeing expensive.

It was hard to choose from the menu, cause all the options looked great, but I was very statisfied with my soup and curry. Unfortunately they were not able to make me a mango lassi, which was a pitty, but the kombucha tasted nice as well.

We ate here on an August evening with our 14 year old son who at first was dubious as it seemed too much like a “real restaurant”, but like us he loved the food and service. We have nothing but positives to say from the tasteful decor, the smooth service, the outstanding starters, mains and desserts (the banana chocolate cake is heavenly) to the wines and drinks. Will be back whenever in Ljubljana.

We came here a couple days ago for dinner and we’re turned away😔 After looking at there reservations system online decided to return and make reservations. Glad we did. The waiter was friendly and answered all our questions. We split the ordered dishes. First was a complementary bread and sun dried tomatoes, starters DAN'S GNOCCHI, SMOKED ROLLS. My fav was SMOKED ROLLS. Table bread was served and was the best bread on this trip so far. Mains were KUNDAN BUTTER CHYKZN and HOUSE SARME. Both were good and my fav was Butter Chykzn.
