Great food! - Edit

Vegan food in a super cool building. You can either sit at a normal or close to the groud (Chinese style) table.
Food was tasty and friendly staff. We were there twice early in the evening and once for breakfast. Service was different every time. They often have a few dishes that are out of stock.
They serve you what is finished cooking, so often you don’t eat at the same time as your companion and they serve starters and mains together if this suits them.
They wrote on FB that they had a new menu so we went there again, only to find out it were only 2-3 additional dishes.

Pros: Super cool building.

Cons: Weird way of serving courses

mistakes in the order every time and bad management. - Edit

Been there 3 times.
First time I ordered pancakes which tasted good, But I found a piece of plastic in the coconutcream and I told the waiter. The waiter just said sorry and walked away.
Second time I had a Dragon Bowl for take away, Which tasted good and No mistakes.
Third time I ordered tomato soup, pasta, hummus, and wrap.
The soup and pasta tasted very good. The wrap wasnt a wrap But instead they had given me 3 tortillas, and taste was below average. (Apparently when you order glutenfree they change the wrap to tortillas, But it didnt say on the english menu at the restaurant or tell me).
And the Hummus was supposed to have pita bread But I only Got the Hummus.
I Call Them to tell Them that Im missing some pita for the Hummus, and the person in the phone is kind and sweet But still just say sorry and didnt offer me anything. I told him that last time they made a mistake they also didnt offer me Anything and Its very expensive for food when you only get half of What you ordered or find plastic in the food..
I talked with him for maybe 15 mins in the phone. He ran back and forth to ask the manager What to do, cause I had to take a taxi to Pick up the food and I was leaving to Europe the day after, so I couldnt come back for the pita.
I could hear the manager in the background and they kept trying to explain it was me that had made a mistake somehow? But the pita was missing so How Can it be my mistake? Finally they offered me to bring the pita to my place.
When the guy came I didnt get pita, But nachos... again, if Thats the glutenfree solution they should tell the costumers. After all I just spend a long time talking with the guy in the phone about pita!

The food tastes good in general, average I would say and SOMETIMES above and SOMETIMES under.
BUT the management should know that This is NOT How you run a good business. If the restaurant makes a mistakes, the restaurant makes up for it! Specially after 2 mistakes, waiting 30 mins for the food, talking phone with Them 15 mins , waiting for the remaining food and paying 412 pesos. I dont want to come back again cause they Seem like they dont Care if you like it or not. And Its really 50/50 if they get it right.

Pros: Food tastes OK and sometimes better

Cons: many mistakes, bad management

One of my favorites in the area - Edit

I've tried many of their dishes but I seem to keep ordering their dragon bowl, it's really tasty even though it can be on the oily side. Their soups and burgers are very nice too.

I haven't had much on their breakfast menu but the tofu scramble was amazing, worth getting there early to try it.

I don't think their food is really pricey, especially compared to other places in that part of the city.

Pros: Tasty food, They stay open late

Cons: Service is friendly but can be slow

i had tried many things / sadly just one good thing in the menu - Edit

food is terrible ! just one good thing cauliflower tacos they are very good, risotto is OK , donuts really suck so dense and bad taste, the reeces the inside is watery, ice cream is not creamy , mash potatoes really bad taste , the nuggets sometimes taste old , guava cheese cake first doesn't taste like guava and was old and too citric . i am really disappointed because food is expensive and they dont really care if you like it or not . i hope this restaurant listen and improve the food.

Amazing, Friendly Staff - Edit

We've been here on several occasions and each time have an amazing meal. The staff couldn't be any friendlier or helpful either. They provide menus in English for those that need it. Everything is 100% vegan and they offer a good mix between modern foods and traditional foods. We were even lucky enough to be there on a day where their special was a chile en nogada and it was unbelievably good! We typically order green smoothies, an appetizer, 3 entrees, and MAYBE a dessert every time we go. The bill is around $30USD, very affordable to stuff your face with. I recommend eating inside on the ground level as the higher level gets too warm from the kitchen. Their breakfast is very good as well. They have plenty of options that focus on nutritional density, whole food options, and we always feel happy afterwards, definitely spiritually uplifting. Highly recommend!

Pros: Options, Healthy options, Whole Food

Cons: None!

nothing extraordinary - Edit

El lugar es lindo y el personal amable; sin embargo la comida no es la mejor, en algunos casos fue insípida, mientras que en otros las combinaciones no funcionaban y el postre, aunque la presentación era muy bella, estaba muy empalagoso y no muy rico :

Very cute, friendly staff, yummy food - Edit

I walked for an hour outside of Centro Historico just to find this place and it was so worth it. I had English breakfast tea with almond milk (my morning staple) and pancakes with chocolate and strawberries. The neighbourhood was peaceful and I sat outside in the shade of the leafy avenue.

Pros: Everything in Mexico City is pretty cheap compared

Friendly and helpful staff. Chef spoke English and not only helped us order but gave recommendations for other vegan places in the area! Tostaditos, Khaleesi salad and Nachos are all highly recommended. Gluten Free substitutions were easy as well. Can't wait to go back!

Mexican Vegan food! - Edit

Awesome place especially for breakfast! I went 4 times during my trip in Mexico City. The eggs are to die for! Try the Enchuladas or huevos rancheros and add chorizo if you like them a bit spiced up. You won't believe they are not real.

Pros: All vegan, Real Mexican flavors, Good service

Disappointing - Edit

I wanted to love this place but I was disappointed.

The cheese on the nachos was runny like water. Not nearly enough toppings.

The burger I ordered was 80% bread bun and 20% burger, which is a shame because it tasted good.

Pros: Good atmosphere

Cons: Light on ingredients, Expensive

Not great - Edit

The ambience is great. they have a upstaris asian style sit on the floor type lounge....

but the food is not great..and overpriced....the cheesecake was edible at best....and insanely overpriced $80....the burgers i've tried have not been great...the protebello mushroom 'burger' is kind of a joke...just some cheap bread with mushrooms thrown on, lettuce and tomatoes..and some vegan cheese...not much thought went into it...bread was soggy from the moisture from the mushrooms....

the forever hamburguesa (made from a bunch of grains and beans) was ok..nothing i would order again....bread was good.....

food is not worth it....but great for working remotely..

my journey continues to find great or even decent vegan food in mexico city..

Pros: Great ambience upstairs, Staff is cool

Cons: Overpriced, Not great food

Pros: delicioso, hermoso espacio

One of the worst vegan restaurants I've ever been to - Edit

The staff was friendly, but the food was pretty awful. The nachos hardly come with anything on them and they're super stale. The French fries were half hard and half soggy with the paprika was caked on. Their main burger patty has something pretty hard/unappetizing in it. They had a peanut butter torte and it was also awful. It didn't taste like it had any sugar in it. Then they had topped it with a really old looking strawberry. My boyfriend's dish said it came with beans and it literally had about four beans on top. All over its overpriced for the awful food you get. Don't waste your time or money. My boyfriend and I left both pretty hungry because the food was so unbearable.

Pros: friendly staff, it's vegan

Cons: lacking taste wise on everything , stale chips, high price for gross food

Great menu, great burger - Edit

One of the best burgers ever! I was welcomed and given an English menu. I ordered a glass of rosada wine ($55) and the quinoa burger special edition ($145), which means besides the guacamole, chipotle mayo, caramelized onions and spinach on the quinoa-corn patty, there were also tempeh bacon and melted vegan cheddar spread on the bun. I really enjoyed this burger! It came with a dark-green salad with cherry tomatoes, raisins, sunflower seeds and pecans. Other mains on the menu include: Forever burger (beans, almonds, carrots, etc), raw pizza, stuffed tempura poblano pepper, wrap, raw pasta pesto, creamy pasta, dragon bowl and quinoa bowl. Appetizers (called Entrées) include tempura cauliflower tacos, pulled-jackfruit tacos, hummus, raw ceviche (marinated young coconut meat), nachos, nuggets (for kids), sweet potato fries. There are salads, three soups, artisanal beers, wine, agua-del-dia, lemonade, kombucha, coffees and more. I wish I had more time in Mexico City, so I could eat at Forever many more times.

Pros: great menu choices, tasty food, nice atmosphere
