French toast and pancakes were on point. While they could have been topped with even more deliciousness, their taste and consistency was great. The service was fast and very friendly. It’s a beautiful place with nice music and a very laidback vibe. The matcha latte with coconut wasn’t the best we’ve tried though. But all in all easy to recommend Forever!

Firstly, this place is GORGEOUS. The decor is very hip & stylish, perfect atmosphere for a date night. I love the art nouveau architecture of the building. And the menu is also great.

My boyfriend ordered the cheese platter and jackfruit sandwich, both were great, jackfruit could have been cooked a little more but was otherwise fab. The coffee was also great. We’ll be back! #Veganuary

Wish we had found this place sooner to try another meal or grab something to go. Just the same we enjoyed our breakfast here on our last day in Mexico City and there seemed to be a fair bit of variety on the menu.

Terrible service. Salad was barely dressed, broccoli was freezing cold. Server took my order, dumped food on table and never returned to sidewalk seating to check if I needed anything - which I did. I had to shout to get waiters attention to get check. Worst service I’ve had in a long time. I appreciate vegan restaurants but they fell way short.

Only ate a quick bite here - the pastor tacos. They were good. I like what was on the menu as a whole. For example, the offer a vegan cheese plate which is not so easy to come by. Worth a visit.

Read more…Returned a few days later and enjoyed the Pistachio Malteada, Tacos Ribeye Beyond, Tacos de Pastor, and the Ensalata Sandía y Feta. Awesome!!!

I ordered the squash flowers and rustic pasta. The squash flowers were amazing! You must try it. The sauces that comes with it are all amazing too. The pasta was overpowered garlic. All you tasted was garlic. I was expeting to taste the tomato and the basil but all I could taste was garlic and that is why I took two stars. Drinks are good too. Staff is not very attentious serving outside. If you are in the area you should try it but I would not drive here just to have a taste. For sure better than Plantasia.

We enjoyed the food, the ingredients are unique like asparagus in a salad or tuna made out of jackfruit. The waiters takes forever to come to you and are kinda rude too. I didn’t liked the vibe they gave. But base on the food, very nice but too expensive for my liking.

I arrived there on a Friday at 9:05 and they told me they do not open before 9;45. I was lied a bit further and went and had breakfast at Fat Vegan. I have 4 stars here since I did not want to mess up their ratings just for reporting they had wrong opening hours here. I have not tried them since.

Nice Vegan Spot w/Opportunity to Improve Service - Edit
First and foremost the restaurant is located in the Roma neighborhood which has plenty of vegan options and shops near by, yay! Be careful upon arrival as there are three steps leading into the establishment and has indoor/loft seating, but of course we decided to eat outside.
Read moreService to order was on the slower side and in my opinion it almost felt like it was an inconvenience to order - when food arrived I noticed my taco order (although good) looked like it was missing something, considering pricing (relevant to other places I have been to). We had three agua frescas of the day, which were tasty ordered the tomato soup, milanesa (sandwich), and small order of fries. All decent, but beware portions are on the smaller side.
The establishment is overall lovely, but maybe it was an off day for personnel, just felt the vibe was off.
Pros: ALL vegan, Delicious Beyond Tacos -even if portion was small, Agua Frescas (Varies by Day)

One of My Favorite Restaurants in the World - Edit
I've been to many restaurants in many different countries, but this would have to be one of my favorites. It was a few years ago and I'm now catching up on my reviews. I went 2-3 times to both locations. I got the pasta, pizza, tacos and some other sides. You won't regret coming here. They are good on gluten free and have English menus. The service is outstanding.

I came here with a group of 7 friends convening from Mexico, the United States, Singapore and the Czech Republic. I was the only vegan but everyone loved it. It's a really pretty space, and we had so much fun drinking wine, sharing appetizers, and enjoying tacos in the lovely open air environment. I especially loved the Tacos de Pastor, my favorite of everything we tried. I would definitely come back!
