Okay - Edit
Asked for another more fancy fried rice, but got the simple fried rice. Did the job, but not special.

Fun if you want to try hot pot, but only regular tofu served - Edit
After reading the reviews I was expecting and excited to see mock meats/different tofu but the only vegan protein was regular tofu and it was a very small portion so had to add another one and pay for it. Then you have the veggies, noodles of course but since I was expecting more protein variations I was quite disappointed. My partner got more food to eat tho (too much). The soup itself was good.

Steamboat journey - Edit
The vegan stuff for the steamboat was lovely. Me and my omni companion made the mistake of ordering just Tomyam soup, when we could have split the hotpot with the mixed soups. This way we could've eaten at the same time, instead of cooking the vegan stuff first and then throwing in all the meat/seafood. Be particular, if you don't want raw meat / seafood touch your veggies or tofu. We had it all mixed on one plate.

Unique experience - Edit
We ordered the steamboat after seeing the reviews on here and really enjoyed this unique experience, having not eaten like this before. We had half Tom yam and the other half was more like a plain broth, with a big plate of veggies and various meat alternatives including silken tofu, fake prawns (veggies wrapped in casing), little tofu balls and slices of tofu. The food was so tasty and really filling. Such an unexpected find with all the meat alternatives.

Many tofu and veggie options - Edit
The place is pretty simple but has a good variety of tofu dishes (bean curd), but not all of them are vegan. Ask the staff if you are unsure.
Read moreCurry bean curd is vegan in any case, has a good taste, nice flavours and the S size is huuuge. One of this plus two portions of plain rice (for 3 RM for both if I'm not mistaken) are fully sufficient for 2 persons (except you are really hungry).
The Highland vegetables in oil look very simple but are sooo good (here the sizes are not that enormous, I recommend size M), but beware: there's a lot of garlic in it!! (probably one of the secrets for the taste 😀).
Prices are very low, more than appropriate for the quality and sizes.
So if you are not looking for a fancy dinner (good luck with that in Tanah Rata 😀) give it a shot. Worst that can happen is that you loose 10-20 RM per person. 😉

Nice and many options - Edit
The food is very yummy. Steamboat highly recommended! They have many options for vegan and vegetarians. They have many plant based/mock meat items so they can easily cook vegetarian fish, mutton, prawn versions. Easy to find location. Spacious 2 shop units.

Vegan Steamboat! - Edit
We came here on our adventure to the Cameron Highlands as guided from another review. Highly impressed with the vegan choice of tofu mushrooms mock meat and rice noodles alongside all the veg! Tom Yum was so nice and full of spicy flavour. We came back here on our second day again to cherish the memory further

Fast service - Edit
Had fried noodles with vegetables.
Read moreSlightly oily and salty but not bad.
It wasn't a large portion - fine for a late lunch but for dinner it wouldn't have been enough.

Basic atmosphere, friendly service - Edit
While passing by and looking at the menu, waitress understood that I am vegeterian and offered kindly their options. Rice, veggies and tofu must be ordered separately. They kindly provide info about the ingridients and know about vegan options. Food amount looked enormous but was very light after all. It even left room for a dessert.
