Varies vegan options - Edit
We had 3 mains, 1 entree, Coke Zero and smooth for approx 190k ($18 aus). Value is good. Food is good without being mind blowing.
Read moreThey do serve meat which is unfortunate but the rest of the menu is vegetarian or vegan, and for that we are grateful.
Was able to have a chat to the owner Felice as we left, quite friendly once she opened up!
Nasi Goreng was good and portion size massive!
Pros: Value , Options , Close to the Kuta hub

Great family restaurant - Edit
I had the spring rolls and nasi goreng. Both were delicious. Nasi goreng is definitely in the top most tasteful that I’ve had here so far. Please be careful as my first nasi goreng came with egg after asking for no egg and stressing we were vegan. They were friendly and quickly made a new meal for me with no egg. The owner Felice was very friendly.

‘Vegetarian’ but sells meat - Edit
I really wanted this place to be great but sadly the was just something off about it. Firstly I don’t know why you would say you’re a vegetarian/vegan place but have a separate meat menu. Whilst the food options are great I’m not even 100% sure the vegan stuff is made vegan as there is little understanding with the staff. Also everyone just seems quite grumpy and it’s a bit unwelcoming. The food is tasty though, cheap and filling

Cons: Grumpy staff, Not sure if actually vegan, Sells meat

Not sure about vegan - Edit
Nice local restaurant. I ate here once and a young girl served me. I explained to her that I was vegan. She said she understood, but I didn’t feel really confident about it. I still ate my food, hoping they didn’t put the cow milk as usual in it.
Read moreThe food was good, but because I wasn’t sure and they sometimes charge more for tofu/tempeh, I wouldn’t come back.

Good. Many vegan options. - Edit
The vibes are a little weird. The family is not very welcoming and makes the little girl do everything while they are just sitting in the restaurant not acknowledging you. They gave me the wrong total every time I went. When I corrected them, they changed it. Once they said “sorry, I didn’t know what you ordered” and I was the only customer in there. And they gave me a price even though they didn’t know what I ordered? They also tried to not give me all my change back. Seems a little scammy.
Read moreHowever, the food was good. They use a lot of pepper. The dishes don’t always taste the same because I guess a different person makes it or they just eyeball it. But it was good.
The ramen is great and more like a curry.
Gado gado has great flavor, but the portion is small.

AMAZING AUTHENTIC FOOD - Edit
Everything from the vegetarian menu is amazing and almost everything is vegan, except of one dish with egg. Teriyaki was my favorit, the curry pasta was amazing, gado-gado was very good. I enjoyed the fresh juices (order without sugar). The lady in the kitchen is not over friendly in a good way. She’s super sweet and a really good chef! The restaurant is run by women only (sisters and daughter). The Best Warung in town and more than affordable!!

Best Nasi goreng! - Edit
This restaurant is such a gem! Best Vegan nasi goreng I’ve had in Indonesia. Huge portions (if you ask politely) bursting with incredible flavour. If you want fuel to surf all day long, come and eat here! Family run restaurant with excellent service! 5 stars!

Budget warung - Edit
The food is quite tasty! Same style as most warungs specializing in flavorful and sweet sauces. The fried things we ordered were fried perfectly!
Read moreIt's a bit sad to see the condition of the kitchen, and the lady who runs it.. it seems she's struggling a lot. She has her ~10 year old daughter supporting her. Food can take some time if there are many people there.
It's nice to support someone who is trying and overall cooks really good indonesian food!
Pros: Good local food, Good prices

Different veggie options - Edit
So nice to have more options than mie/Nasi goreng. Make sure to ask for no egg if vegan. Teriyaki tofu was bomb

Mixed - Edit
There's meat and fish options on the menu, so the name of the warung is misleading.
Read moreA great range of vegan options listed on the menu, however. This included the curry pasta, which was absolutely delicious!
Despite us advising that all of our food was to be made vegan, our mie goreng was delivered to us with egg in it (but our other foods were definitely vegan). When we advised this to the waitress who took our order, she was confused as to why we couldn't eat it.
We spoke with the owner, Felice, (who was absolutely lovely and a real character!) who was very apologetic and clearly understood that egg is not vegan. I think the waitress was new and hadn't been fully informed as to the differences between vegan and vegetarian.
So I doubt this would happen again, as Felice gave the waitress a stern word. However, definitely check that the waitress understands what vegan is before ordering.

What a nice local warung! We had the tempeh goreng (huge portion) so good!
Read moreAnd the curry pasta, which was good but the portion was a bit small for my boyfriend (same for the Mie Goreng)
I had the oreng oreng with tempeh tofu and rice and it was very good!! As well as the teriyaki dish.
It’s a very local restaurant, a bit dirty but they cook with love and it’s a pleasure to try some dishes here!

Try Curry Pasta! - Edit
Here you can find delicious local food for small prices with big portions, many choices of Tempeh and Tofu which I love. The best was the Curry Pasta it was so tasteful, it was actually the best local dish we had in one month travelling through Indonesia! A bit of a fusion between western and Indonesian food

Inexpensive big portions - Edit
If you want to pay less money and get really fed you should come here. The Mie Goreng I had was a huge portion, almost impossible to finish. It comes with tofu/tempeh if you pay 5k extra. The food was good but unfortunately really oily.

Very nice place - Edit
They offer a wide range of local dishes, all vegetarian, most vegan or can be made vegan. It was a bit hard to communicate at first but then they called their little girl Namira who is not only super cute but speaks perfect English. The food tasted amazing (I had the Oseng-Oseng) and everybody was really nice. Price was very reasonable.
