Read moreIt’s a bit cramped in there and a weird smell (maybe all the frying, but not sure) and the roof was leaking the day we visited leaving the floor sloppy so watch out!

Went because we were excited about the vegan options, but service was incredibly slow (1 hour between starters and mains with constant assurances of "it's on the pass right now"). The food was okay, but all quite oily and soggy, so not worth the wait in the end

So many options, vegan and veggie, with vegan dirty fries and nachos. I opted for five lies and sweet potato fries, it was so so yummy!

Really disappointed this time Iv been in the past and enjoyed it but wouldn’t recommend taking away like we did. The waffle fries that came were just little pieces of crunchy shrapnel, the chips with the kids meal were really cold, the frickles were really soggy pickles the batter just fell off, and the Oprah sin free burger came flat with one piece of cheese and no onion rings on it as described. I actually felt so dissatisfied this time for so many things to go that wrong.

I had the Bloody Harrelson. It looked a little sad but tasted good. It was quite sweet with ketchup and smokey mayo. Fries were just like fries should be.
Price is reasonable at 11.90 for burger and (regular) fries.
All in all good, but not spectacular.

Tasty food and quick service, surprisingly I could not finish the Oprah Sin-Free and I eat a lot of food, the Fast Hippo Little Oprah was definitely far better value but all in all good food

Eat here a lot, both as a family and with colleagues. Had a few instances where items have been missing from order so recommend you check your bag before walking away. Lots of vegan burger options, starters and sides. Would like to see a spicy vegan option at some point but otherwise not complaining!

Great to have vegan options and I would go again but I’m not rushing back! Could be just what I tried but it was average, very nice but could have made similar food at home. I will deffo try more on the menu and it is still nice!

Fat hippo is brilliant. I’ve taken non vegans there who say the same thing. Lots of choices for us vegans. The only thing I miss about meat, (haven’t eaten any in like 5 years) is gross meat like burgers and hot dogs and general pigging out, but fat hippo allows this and so I rate it.

I have been here twice. The first time, I had the notorious VFC and the second the Shroom Raider. Based on the VFC I would have awarded 5 stars as it was delicious! How the burger had been put together and the sauces used were perfect. The shroom burger was good but I wouldn’t order it again.

Really lovely place to come with omni family. Really good selection of vegan burgers, starters and sides. All of them sounded so good, just a shame I had to pick just one! Burgers were fun and inventive. Good portion sizes as all the burgers came with chips. Service was very speedy. Everyone was pleased with our choice
