Want to give 5 stars - Edit

The ocean view setting was amazing along with the food and service. Great vegan choices, we ate their twice it was so good. Offered several non-vegetarian options which was nice as we were traveling with family. They serve lunch until 5pm so we opted to do early dinner as the lunch menu was more affordable and offered more vegan options.

outstanding food, wine, and ambiance - Edit

Elegant fine dining on a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the ocean. Vegan items are clearly marked on the menu, including polenta galettes with tofu, gnocchi with vegetables, carrot-ginger soup, and grilled pineapple with rum and coconut sorbet. Excellent wine list and service.

Pros: Vegan/vegetarian section on menu, elegant fine dining, outdoor seating

Should Be 5 Stars - Edit

This restaurant was amazing. We were staying at Divi All Inclusive and needed a break from trying to find food at the all you can eat buffet. We checked Happy Cow and found this gem! I had the vegetable wrap with the side salad and my husband had the plantain wrap with vegan tartar and a side of fries. The food was not just vegan and well balanced, it was absolutely delicious!

Pros: lovely service, they made us feel cared for, great options for vegans and items on menu are cle, reasonable price, but we didn’t care about the pri

Cons: the buffet was not really an option

Perfect Vegan Meal to Kickstart our Vacation - Edit

Great choice to treat yourself for a nice vegan dinner on the beach.

I ordered the Whole Wheat Pasta (ask for it vegan and sub the quorn for tofu). Blend of carribean flavors were amazing in this dish. Wife had the Pineapple Quinoa and she loved it. They flambayed it right at the table! I also had the Carrot Ginger soup, and although it had no frills, it hit the spot and was exactly what I wanted. Our server, Mirna, was super friendly and she went over and above to make sure our choices were done vegan.

Pros: Fine Dining for Vegans, Very Friendly Staff, Prompt Service

Cons: A little expensive, Can be quite windy

A great experience - Edit

This is probably the best high end vegan option on the island. An amazing experience with vegan options for all courses. Everything is clearly marked and the servers know what vegan means. This isn't veggie burgers and salad... Amazing options that are unique to this place. I had four courses, including dessert - all vegan. Reasonably priced for this type of restaurant. You can tell your server if you want a brief meal or that you want to take your time. Make reservations for around 6 or 6:15 to watch the sunset with dinner. Wine list is reasonably priced. Good signature cocktails. Personally - this is a 5/5 for me. Best on the island.

Pros: atmosphere, menu options, service

Elements Restaurant at Bucuti & Tara Resort - Edit

Only two years old, the adult only Elements Restaurant is nestled within the Bucuti & Tara luxury resort on Palm Beach. My wife Misa and I enjoyed a full-on vegan collection of both fine, hot and cold selections.

A viscous broccoli and carrot soup and Caesar salad with avocados warmed up our pallets. For the entrees, Misa had the pineapple quinoa and vegetables which was creatively served in the shell of a whole pineapple. I went with the whole wheat and spaghetti squash pasta seasoned with garlic, tomatillos, leeks and quorn which was enhanced with Dijon mustard and Riesling wine. Dessert consisted of the Panna Cotta, a chilly medley of almond milk, coconut milk and cacao simmered together and topped with chopped nuts.

We were seated outside on the pristine, white sandy beach where the Caribbean evening waters were calm, the palm trees whistled gently with the soft Breeze and the temperament was as romantic as an Arubian sunset wedding.

We do suggest you book here during your next trip to Aruba. Simply amazing.

great menu - Edit

Had lunch there. There are many vegan and vegetarian and GF items all marked with a V or a symbol. Beautiful location. Make sure you communicate with the server about what vegan is. We ordered a vegan dish with the "vegan tartar sauce" but we got the tartar sauce with pieces of eggs. They actually have Vegenaise and the chef knows what vegan is, just make sure your server knows. Also, the chef felt bad about the egg mistake and made us vegan desserts: panna cotta made with agar with Rice whip. They have the ingredients, the menu, and the skill to make great vegan dishes. The staff just needs practice so please go and order some vegan stuff.

Pros: Creative Chef, Great menu, nice location

Cons: servers may not understand vegan

Perfect. Just Perfect. - Edit

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Marriot Surf Club and made a reservation to have the Prix Fixe sunset dinner in a private palapa on the beach. They only have two seatings each night (6pm & 8:30pm) for each of their 4 palapas so if you're interested in this option, make reservations early. When we called we specified that we are both vegan (my gf is also GF...gluten free) and we were both told that it'd be no problem at all. Unfortunately when we arrived and mentioned this to our server, we were told that nobody had informed the chef. Nevertheless, Chef Vanessa came out to us on the beach and was extremely helpful and accommodating. She came up with a few ideas and ran them by us and we were delighted with every thing she said.

Our first course was an arugula risotto. It was amazing! I don't particularly like arugula but this was delicious. The second course was our least favorite of the night. Carrot Ginger soup for me, Cauliflower soup for her. Both are said to be vegan on the menu but they must alter them a little because ours were rather bland and flavorless. Not terrible, just nothing we'd ever get again nor recommend. Third was the arugula and fresh berry salad with a raspberry vinaigrette. It was great! In fact we both ate it way too fast and totally forgot to take a picture of it. Fourth was our palate cleanser...mango sorbet. It was so creamy that we were questioning whether or not it was actually vegan. Chef Vanessa was too knowledgeable about the vegan lifestyle to have let us down though. Our fifth course was the main course. I got the whole wheat pasta with roasted veggies and tomatillo...it was really good. My gf got the quinoa stuffed pineapple which was both amazing and unique! It looked like it was baked and showed looking like a whole pineapple with a balsamic drizzle on the side...then the waiter carried a ladle of fire and flambed the top. It was fun to watch and to eat. Finally we had some chocolate covered strawberries that were very good. They weren't on the menu and Chef Vanessa came up with it just for us.

Overall it really was the perfect dinner. The prix fixe dinner also comes with a bottle of wine of your choice and worked out to be about $147 (15% tip included...but we threw in some more for all their accommodating). The views and the food are spectacular. They took pics for us right at sunset and everything. I can't wait to go back again next year!

Pros: Vegan, gluten free options, Location right on the beach, Super friendly staff

Cons: The soup was a little bland, Can get expensive
