Casual, upscale New American restaurant offering vegan options, including a toasted cauliflower starter, pea shoot and berry salad, and a main dish of grilled polenta with panko crusted black bean cake, shaved squash, and roasted chili sauce (specify no cheese). Please note that the bread is not vegan. Reservations are required when busy - call ahead. Open Mon-Sun 5:00pm-10:00pm.

Special occasion destination.

We were floating on cloud 9!
The entree had me swooning~
Strict vegans will need to pass on the homemade bread, as it contains honey. Also if they had 2 options we could choose for entrees I would have ordered both. The pasta had dairy & eggs.. Seasonal menu changes at least once a year, but this year was spectacular! Amazing flavor contrast & complex but very cohesive sauces made the Polenta shine as one of the best dinners I've had.
Josh was as friendly as could be, and quite understanding of our dietary limitations. Will definitely be back! Thanks Desert Bistro for a remarkable anniversary dinner.

Pros: Quaint patio, not too crowded, Salad, App, and an entree available vegan, Super courteous server.

Cons: Only one entree available vegan( hold the cheese), True vegans will have to avoid the bread.
