Pros: Great quality/value, Staff, Place

Great vegan experience - Edit

We went here for dinner and indulged ourselves. Such a relieve not to worry about the food! And they had so much variety in the buffet! Luckily we were early as it got super busy later in the evening. Some people had to wait for a bit. I don't know if this is every evening, but it's good to be aware of the popularity of the place.
The staff was very friendly and helpful although they were super busy.
Price/quality was very good in my opinion. I would definitely go back!

Pros: Everything in the buffet was vegan, so no worries, Friendly staff, Good price/quality

Cons: Some things tasted a bit plane, The tables are very close to each other

Great concept! - Edit

We went to DaTerra for the first time and we loved the concept. I think vegan buffets are a great way for people (specially non vegans) to consume plenty of healthy foods. They have great vegan desserts, we tried the Chocolate Tart, it was delicious. :)

Pros: fully vegan!, great desserts

Cons: drink not included in the price, no sauces

Great food, cheap prices - Edit

The buffet offers many different tasty food. The fresh-pressed juices are delicious too. My 5 non-vegetarian friends liked it a lot. 4 of them even went there again without me once :-)
Also, food is cheap!
There's sitting space in the restaurant and also a big sitting area in the market.

Pros: Very good food, Cheap, A lot of sitting space

Good Variety - Edit

I had dinner in this restaurant last week and I found a really good variety of vegan food. As I understood not all desserts were vegan but if you ask the staff is friendly to tell you which ones are.
The buffet was 8,50 euros and you can repeat as many times as you want.

Great find! - Edit

I visited Porto for a few days and could not get enough of this restaurant, both at the market in Gaia and the location in downtown Porto. The vegan dishes were tasty, versatile and very well priced. The staff were friendly and the service superb. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Pros: Variety of vegan options

Highly recommend - Edit

Large variety of delicious vegan food. It’s a buffet so you can refill your plate as many times as you like. It’s very popular so booking is recommended or be prepared that you may have to wait for a table. We went on a Tuesday night and had to wait. Inexpensive. Drinks and desserts aren’t included in buffet price but the desserts are so good! We have the banoffee pie and it was delicious but double check what is vegan and vegetarian as not all desserts are vegan.

Pros: So many options , Not expensive

Cons: Very busy

spero di poterci tornare presto! - Edit

Sono andata la sera, il buffet era vegano. Ho trovato tutto molto buono e gustoso. È possibile mangiare quanto si vuole. Tra le scelte una zuppa calda, verdure cotte e crude, cereali.

Cons: convenientissimo

great buffet option - Edit

The buffet had a lot of options, and they were constantly bringing something else from the kitchen. We can eat as much as we want, including the soup and bread. The desserts were not all vegan, but once I asked they told me exactly which of the pies and cakes were vegan. The apple pie was delicious! The buffet was 7,50 euros and the dessert was 3,50 euros. Also, friendly staff!

Great food, great place! - Edit

Went there for the buffet and was not disappointed. Certainly one of the highlights in an otherwise demanding Portugal trip.
Buffet is entirely vegan and really good.

Pros: Great food, Many fresh alternatives, Pretty good prices too

Cons: It's kind of noisy, Supposedly it is difficult to get what you want ou

convenient and fresh - Edit

Great selection of vegan food in an area where there's not much else. It's best to visit for lunch or dinner. They are open in between but three not as much to choose from. Most restaurants in Porto have limited hours. Da Terra is much more accessible. Everything on the buffet is vegan. Some desserts are not but there were several vegan desserts that were clearly marked. The prices are reasonable. The employee that was there spoke English and was helpful.

Fabulous and Vegan Friendly - Edit

There is lunch buffet open (ALL you can eat) until 15hr 30 and then dinner buffet starts at 19hr 30. In between you can choose only from the burger and sandwich menu for food options but they do NOT disappoint. Both buffet times are packed, I recommend making a reservation or expecting a bit of a little wait if you go during a rush. But you can instantly tell why this place is well-loved by locals and tourists: fantastic food with extensive options for a middle of the road price.

The staff is attentive and friendly and I am glad I got to experience the dessert too... definitely a highlight of my time in Porto!

Pros: Almost entirely vegan (ask servers about desserts)

Cons: Can get a bit busy, be prepared.

The place serves vegetarian but you will be treated like cattle. - Edit

Too bad two star is minimal. One is even too much.
Very Unfriendly and ignorant staff. Waited 15 minutes and finally ordered a drink after insisting to be helped. This was very rude.
Quota's had to be made for sure!
Didn't eat because of this and just finished my drink.
No lock on the ladies room and no toilet paper. In the men's room the wash basin and urinal are closely next to each other. One can see your toolkit in the mirror.
Very unhygienic and shameful.
Don't let them screw up your day and please choose for the other and better veggie options in this city!

Pros: ?

Great Place - Edit

We came here on a Saturday night. There was live music in the market building and we walked through the different restaurants and stands looking for something vegetarian. Every eatery had tons of meat and fish and then we found Da Terra. My husband chose the buffet and I just had an iced ginger tea with chocolate cake. The buffet had so much food- rice and grains, curry and soup. I wasn't that hungry, but tasted the curry and some of the salads and they were delicious. The chocolate cake was good as well, but after tasting the curry, I was sorry I went for sweet and not savory. The food was quite inexpensive and definitely worth the money. We sat in the restaurant and enjoyed the music from the market and it was a great night out.

excellent food, lots of options , Inexpensive menu - Edit

This place is a must visit for everyone who calls himself vegetarian. The food is delicious, the juices fresh and homemade and the price of 21 Euro for two people including drinks at an all-you-can-eat buffet is beyond belief...

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Inexpensive , delicious food

Cons: ?

Decent buffet - Edit

Not a big fan of buffets, but this one was particularly good. Everything was vegan except some desserts which was great, the staff could tell me what stuff was that wasn't labeled. Quite a busy place with not much seating, fortunately we got there early so got a table before the rush. You can go back as much as you like, everything was hot and being replenished regularly. This is nothing like the best vegan restaurant in Porto, but it's good food.

Pros: Good food, Helpful staff, Mostly vegan

Cons: Buffet, In a market, Limited seating

Best Vegan Restaurant in Porto - Edit

Make sure you are starving before visiting this vegan restaurant. It is a buffet style and hard to stop eating. It's all delicious. Soup, Salads, Rice, beans, baked fruits with toppings, Quiches, Vegetables, Tofu, Seitan, Fruits, endless list. Most of it is very light and great quality ingredients. Every once in a while, they have these cleansing shots of a mix of juices and spices. The fresh juices and desert are extra pay. But no one orders desert after the yummy meal, because you're too full. But the juices are amazing, specially the vegetable juice with lemon and ginger. The flavor was not too strong, it was perfect and feels good to drink. Strongly recommended.

Pros: Light, Delicious, Verstile

Call it synchronicity call it deja vu - Edit

Whilst not obvious, the whole buffet here is actually 100% vegan and quite delicious too. It's also a little cheaper than Da Terra in the centre of Porto we visited a few days earlier but with pretty much the same options. Located in the bustling and modern social culinary showpiece of Bom Sucesso Market it's right opposite a fantastic trappist beer place in the far right corner. Just be careful not to catch sight of any of the meat or seafood places as you navigate the market. I nearly wretched when I saw octopus tentacles on plates as I tentatively walked past. Take a high seat next to the wall and enjoy your buffet with a glass of something. The wine's good, and it's local.

Pros: 100% vegan, Good value, Modern

Cons: Meat places in market

Great concept for veg food! - Edit

This buffet restaurant has a rotating menu so you never know what you'll find, but the layout is always one soup, a few salads and cold dishes, small bites and then warm dishes, mostly vegan, but two or three options with cheese. The salads were fresh and interesting, the seitan dishes have been great and the moqueca of tofu was really nice. The location is really convenient, inside a newly-remodeled market that has lots of different restaurants under the same roof. Desserts are also mostly vegan, with a great chocolate mousse pie.

Pros: great value for the money, nearby options for your non-veg friends
