I only stopped for coffee and cake but this place is really nice. The buffet options looked great, very varied and healthy. It was popular too so thats a great sign. I had the vegan banoffee pie and it was delicious!

Great selection of vegan food in an area where there's not much else. It's best to visit for lunch or dinner. They are open in between but there is not as much to choose from. Most restaurants in Porto have limited hours. Da Terra is much more accessible. Everything on the buffet is vegan. Some desserts are not but there were several vegan desserts that were clearly marked. The prices are reasonable. The employee that was there spoke English and was helpful.

"All you can eat" buffet - Edit
There are various options of vegan food (something like tapas), but as well also some main dishes. I loved it, that there is the possibility, after eating up your frist plate you could take a new one and fill it with more food. And all that for 8,50€ p. P. The juices were delicious as well and very healthy. I can recommend the Banoffee cake (Banana cake). The whipped cream was heaven!

Visited DaTerra on a Tuesday evening with non-vegan work colleagues. The buffet selection was great - a wide variety of options such as pizza, lasagne, little tomato tartlets, salads, rice dishes and various vegetables cooked in sauces or coated in crispy breadcrumb seasoning.
Read moreFor € 10.80 you can go up and fill your plate as many times as you want. Prices vary depending on the time of day. Desserts and drinks are not included in this price and are ordered from the table.
Covid hygiene is followed well considering the handling of communal food. With customers expected to sanitise hands and/or wear disposable gloves (provided) before picking up a plate and dishing up food, as well as wearing masks when not seated.
We also had dessert which was so tasty. My colleague had the chocolate cake and I had banoffee pie. Both very nice although the chocolate cake is very rich.
You can also buy take out boxes which, if I recall, were €7.50 for a regular or €5.50 for a small box. I didn’t see the boxes to be able to comment on whether this is value for money, but I was tempted to get a box for lunch the next day if I had felt so full and sick of the sight of food!
All in all, everyone in our party was really impressed with the food available and it definitely put vegan food in a good light, so that’s a positive.
Also worth noting that this place does get very busy. We arrived at ~8pm and soon after we sat down there was a constant flow of customers queuing at the door and this continued until 10.30pm (they close at 11pm). Seems to be very popular, but worth the wait if you do have to queue.

Probably the best buffet I've ever tried! There are many options one can choose from and you can repeat it. The food is absolutely amazing, and there is a nice variety of dishes. I highly recommend it!!!

I've been to DaTerra before, in Lisbon and at the more central location in Porto (on Rua Mouzinho da Silveira), and have hugely enjoyed what was on offer. Not here. The food was unbelievably bland, absolutely tasteless. Usually at DaTerra, given that it's a buffet, I go up for seconds and even thirds (when it's good it's very good), but here I didn't even go back once. Food also tasted as though it had been left to sit out too long, cucumber slices had dried out, as had the rice.

The restaurant is located in the market building. We could choose for 8,50 EUR per person from the varied buffet. A drink was included in the price. Coffee and dessert cost extra. The staff is friendly, helpful and speaks English.

Though not every dish was spot on when it comes to flavor, there was so much variety and it was such a good value. I felt like this restaurant was a lifesaver after many days in Portugal grazing on white carbs and struggling to find something to fill me up.
