LOVE Cosmic Kitchen! - Edit
I came here for my birthday with my non-vegan family and we all absolutely loved it!
Read moreThe restaurant itself is so gorgeous and chilled. Lots of pretty plants everywhere and a kind of churchy, medieval decor. The staff were super nice!
The menu all sounded so gorgeous, I wanted to order everything! I had a seitan kebab and it was very tasty. Everyone really enjoyed their food.
Definitely need to come back next time I’m in Plymouth!
Pros: Delicious food, Amazing vibes, Lovely staff

Reasonable food, unreasonable prices - Edit
I had a gyros wrap and fries, for which I was charged £20. It was fine, but definitely not worth the money. The fries were quite greasy, and the gyros was just that, no salad or anything else on the plate to justify the money. My husband had the roast. The potatoes were soggy and again, not a lot of food for the money. We had cake and ice cream for dessert, which was also expensive. The lemon cake was dry. The staff were very nice.

Only ok - Edit
I really wanted to like this place, but was a bit disappointed in what I got. I ordered the souvlaki fries and the London fog latte. The fries were good but I think they were just a bit too expensive for what they were as the portion was relatively small. The latte unfortunately had quite a bit of lavender (?) on top that made it a bit undrinkable, you had to kinda chew the flowers which made it taste like soap. I took a napkin and spoon to get it all off and the taste underneath was good and it did look nice.

Lovely food, lovely place - Edit
Great to have the option of a decent vegan restaurant handy for Plymouth city centre. The converted chapel is a really attractive setting with a pretty chilled vibe. The service was attentive without being annoying. Most importantly the food was great - loads of choice from hearty dhal to salad bowls to wraps. My pretty fussy (non-vegan) children cleaned their plates and wanted to go back soon.
Read moreMy only (very minor) negative was the hummus bread and olive side we shared as a starter had a massive bowl of hummus but only three small fingers of bread to eat it with. Less hummus, more bread or just more bread would be my suggestion.
Pros: Great food, Great Location

Nice food and good vibes - Edit
Ate here before a trip to the cinema. It’s a nice restaurant, good selection of food on the menu but did feel it was more orientated towards lunch meals rather than evening, but that’s not to say there weren’t options. Quality of food was very good and the brownie with ice cream was really nice.

Not as good as I had hoped. - Edit
This restaurant was highly recommended. I ordered the shawarma kebab, which included jalapeños and red onion. There was no mention of cucumber. Had cucumber been mentioned, I would not have ordered it. My dinner arrived in a tortilla wrap. I found the cucumber with my 2nd bite and spent the rest of the meal fishing out the unwanted ingredient. Not impressed.

Lovely experience - Edit
Delicious, well balanced food in a GORGEOUS setting of a converted chapel. Great atmosphere, fantastic menu options & friendly staff. Will be back to try the roast club on a Sunday for sure.
Read moreJudging from other reviews about pricing maybe customers could give more consideration to how much it costs to run an independent business in this economy? Pricing isn’t just based on ingredients costs! Personally I think it was good value for the experience as a whole.

Over priced - Edit
Both had the rainbow bowl, the London fog latte and a mocha.
Read moreAt £14.50 the rainbow bowl is a bit of a joke , the veg that comes with it is from the stew they serve which is as stated stewed so does not go well in a salad bowl. You get about a teaspoon of hummus, ten leaves and literally 4 olives, I would of counted the pomegranate seeds too. It’s not that it lacked quality but the price is way to much. Drinks are also very average for the price- the London fog latte was just the taste of hot milk not vanilla or lavender as stated. I’m all for supporting vegan business but lower your prices or up your quantity.
Pros: The staff are nice , The atmosphere is great , It’s an all vegan restaurant
Cons: Over priced
