Great food - Edit
Got some food to take away. I tried the vegan scotch egg and my mum and I also got the Greek salad and rainbow salad.
Read moreWhen we went to pick up the food, the venue looked really cute, in an old building, and the cakes and salads at the counter all looked amazing.
The food itself was very nice! This is the only time I've seen a scotch egg since being vegan and it was really tasty. The salads were fresh and yummy. It was quite expensive but worth it as a treat!

Sensational. We just visited today. I had the chilli nachos and my mum had the mushroom tagliatelle and it was fantastic. Good sized portions. Tasted amazing. Great service. And lovely wine too. Will most definitely be back.

Lacking attention and service - Edit
Food was lovely and overall good place/vibes. Not too pricey and good range of food. Was quite a wait on our food and we felt like we got forgotten, was over 30-45 minutes waiting and then staff not noticing things like when we were finished and plates being taken away or waiting to have order taken etc… bathrooms were abit neglected and needed a tidy.

Wholesome food, consistently great. - Edit
Been to Plymouth exactly 4 times and I’ve been to Cosmic Kitchen 5 times. First visit was in 2021. Always had great wholesome and flavourful food each time. Staff have always been super kind, friendly and accommodating. Ate too much before arriving for dinner this evening so i had to leave some food (woild have taken it home but the hotel doesn’t have a fridge!) which made me so sad as it was blooooody deeelish. 🥲 can’t recommend this place enough, the roasts, the lunches, the dinner and the vibes!

Had the gyros with garlic and parsley fries, with aioli. Entirely vegan menu, decent prices, friendly staff and a really nice setting. Very welcoming atmosphere.

Reasonable food, unreasonable prices - Edit
I had a gyros wrap and fries, for which I was charged £20. It was fine, but definitely not worth the money. The fries were quite greasy, and the gyros was just that, no salad or anything else on the plate to justify the money. My husband had the roast. The potatoes were soggy and again, not a lot of food for the money. We had cake and ice cream for dessert, which was also expensive. The lemon cake was dry. The staff were very nice.

Only ok - Edit
I really wanted to like this place, but was a bit disappointed in what I got. I ordered the souvlaki fries and the London fog latte. The fries were good but I think they were just a bit too expensive for what they were as the portion was relatively small. The latte unfortunately had quite a bit of lavender (?) on top that made it a bit undrinkable, you had to kinda chew the flowers which made it taste like soap. I took a napkin and spoon to get it all off and the taste underneath was good and it did look nice.

Lovely food, lovely place - Edit
Great to have the option of a decent vegan restaurant handy for Plymouth city centre. The converted chapel is a really attractive setting with a pretty chilled vibe. The service was attentive without being annoying. Most importantly the food was great - loads of choice from hearty dhal to salad bowls to wraps. My pretty fussy (non-vegan) children cleaned their plates and wanted to go back soon.
Read moreMy only (very minor) negative was the hummus bread and olive side we shared as a starter had a massive bowl of hummus but only three small fingers of bread to eat it with. Less hummus, more bread or just more bread would be my suggestion.

Nice food and good vibes - Edit
Ate here before a trip to the cinema. It’s a nice restaurant, good selection of food on the menu but did feel it was more orientated towards lunch meals rather than evening, but that’s not to say there weren’t options. Quality of food was very good and the brownie with ice cream was really nice.
