Local ingredients with interesting twists! Such as nettle pierogi or cutlets made out of hubs. Big portions, tasty food and good atmosphere. Located not in the city centre, but in Toruń's most beautiful district (in my humble opinion).

Potrawy są niespotykane lecz proste i pyszne. Obsługa miła i posiadająca wiedzę nt.dań. Polecam chłodnik na zakwasie, krupnik, kultowe skrzydełka z boczniaka, kotlety z pokrzywą. Pyszne piwa bezalkoholowe .

Not fully vegan. Food tasty, good price, nice compositions. I was a bit overwhelmed with the employee when I asked questions about the dishes (for example what it is served with), I was getting a long story each time. When I asked about one position from the menu, he discouraged me from that and didn't answer my question.

We, my three daughters my son and i had a terrific lunch. We got cherries as a free appetizer, which was very nice.Very good flavours and good combinations between sour and sweet. Beautifull mix of vegetables and pickled/fermented vegetables and sprouts.We also had vegan ice and pancakes as a dessert. My son loved the pancakes. The staff did not speak English but they were very nice. They do have an printed English menu. At the end of the me u the owner had a nice surprise we got to taste a homebrew, a very strong and spicy fermented drink, my children were not very fond of it it was to sharp for them, but it was very nice.

Chwast Prast serves tasty food, with a plenty of good options to choose from the regular menu and also a dish of the day, which is often a highlight for me. Flavours are really good, the service is nice and the only thing i'm missing here is some better plating and a bit more varied ingredients added to main dishes, for example different, more fitting salads instead of adding chinese cabbage to everything. Still I recommend eating there for ultra friendly service and big portions of food that won't ever make you leave the restaurant hungry!

A great addition to the choice of vegetarian and vegan restaurants in Toruń. Brilliant food - exciting, tasty and well presented. And some great non-alcoholic beers - I was very impressed with the Rye. Almost all vegan. They also sell a good range of homemade fermented products, if you’re staying or have a good baggage allowance. They gave us some to sample - good for you and incredibly tasty.

I had heard about this place from.some friends who visited it and happened to be in Torun while on short holiday so decided to pay a visit.
Read moreIt is a approx 20 min walk from the heart of the iconic Old Town and located on a quiet street off Mickiewicza St.
The interior is very stylish and I personally like it and enjoyed staying in.
Since we had eaten elswhere we just had some sweets (all plant based) and I must admit these were delicious (even for non vegan teenager that was with me).
Generally speaking the menu looks great and cannot wait to try some more next time I am around.
The service was prompt and in a very friendly manner.
They also have a sort of back yard with plenty of sitting space which looked great.
Pros: Delicious food, Friendly service

Spróbowałem dwóch zup - chłodników, które były pyszne, oraz dwóch dań obiadowych, które były zupełnie nijakie. Trochę jak stereotypowy wege obiad sprzed 10 lat - kotlet z kaszy jaglanej bez smaku i surówka. Ale nawet bym nie narzekał za bardzo, gdyby nie zupełnie nie przystające do tych dań ceny - 28 złotych za kotlet z frytkami i surówką to jest dla mnie nieco za dużo.

I had an oyster "cutlet" at Chwast Prast and it was amazing! Everything was on point - mango soup, fries. But, my friend's "beyond burger" was served as a cutlet, not as a burger, which was a bit of a surprise.
