Serves meat, vegan options available. Mexican fast food chain founded 1993 in the US and now operates outlets across North America and several more overseas. Set up is assembly line style where you could customize your order of tacos, burrito, or burrito bowl, and request no cheese or sour cream. Offers a savory sofritas filling that's made from soy protein, and some locations offer Impossible meat. Rice, beans, guacamole are vegan. In early-2019 added a pre-configured vegan bowl which includes the sofritas in addition to other fillings like guacamole. Removed December 2021 - better options nearby.

Build-your-own-burrito

I had a build your own burrito for lunch: quite a big lunch it turned out. For a fast food restaurant it was quite nice. They could cut down on the packaging (wasteful) and the food was a little too salty, but otherwise very good. Friendly staff was knowledgeable about vegan options.

Pros: large portions, build-your-own-burrito, nice atmosphere

Cons: too much packaging waste, too much salt

Go-To Fast Food

What can I say. Chipotle is Chipotle. It a good place to get a quick burrito. They've now added the sofritas (tofu) option to the menu and still have their grilled veggies. Great way to have a filling, flavorful option for vegetarians.

Pros: meat alternatives

Quick and Easy Vegan Food

Chipotle has really good burritos and bowls. The sofritas (spicy tofu mixture) filling is something that definitely gives Chipotle more points than Qdoba. The veggie burritos also get free guacamole which is always delicious.

Pros: Fast, Well priced, Large portions

Cons: Sometimes pieces of meat or cheese end up in the v

Sofritas are amazing

Great chain restaurant with vegan options, just stay clear of the obvious things like meat, cheese, and sour cream and you're good! The awesome part is that they offer the Sofritas which is a tofu based vegan option if you want more than just beans and rice in your burrito

Cons: you never know if they change their gloves after h, if the workers are not careful I have seen a piece
