Delicious, healthy vegan food - Edit
This is a lovely wee place, with a surprisingly wide selection of great food. Portions are large and filling and the prices are very reasonable.
Read moreThe guy who was working there the day we were in was really friendly and pleasant, and does an amazing job in his tiny kitchen.
I had the Goan soup - potato, turmeric and coconut, which came with a cute little samosa and small flatbread - which actually were just the right size, meaning I didn't feel over-faced with it. And really well-priced at £4.95.
My partner had a monster portion of Lasagne, and it was so so delicious.
Nice coffee too.
Our only regret was that we didn't have room for cake! Which I think was a banoffi cake and sounded delightful. Next time!
Pros: Healthy options, Great prices, Pleasant staff

Great breakfast with friendly service - Edit
Happy Cow didn’t let us down again. We were looking for somewhere to get a late morning veggie breakfast and found this small cafe. Very friendly service and delicious food. Thank you. We’ll be back.

Lovely Vegan Options - Edit
Found Chickpea on Happycow and called in for lunch...Owner Nick is really friendly and I love the eclectic feel to the place with upcycled furniture...Chose ratatouille stuffed aubergine with vegan cheese and a tea with oat milk...The food was delicious and beautifully presented... Highly recommended.

bland - Edit
I had a very bland potato and turmeric soup (more of a broth) and my friend had a lasagne. I'm really only giving it 3 stars for being vegan! Wouldn't go again.

Burnt breakfast - Edit
This one man operation is located in the basement of a store. We ordered a full English breakfast and the Goan (soup and samosa). The Goan was good, a very solid soup. the breakfast was unfortunately burnt.

Hidden Gem! - Edit
Found this hidden gem today in Liverpool. Great service, really friendly fella who served and cooked for us. Really great food! Relaxed atmosphere with it being hidden from big crowds and set up next to the record store. Loved it here, will definitely be back.

Lovely - Edit
Confortable and relaxed, with lots of appealing choices on the menu, and friendly, helpful staff. Food was cooked to order, tasty and varied. Sadly I was too full for a dessert - they looked delicious.

Fresh, tasty and beautiful - Edit
Small cafe below a cool (hippy) clothes shop, so I was a bit dubious at first. However, I was very pleasantly surprised! The food was beautifully presented and all fresh ingredients (not processed vegan food) so it was exactly what I wanted. All the food tasted great...you know when you have one mouthful and you're already looking forward to your next mouthful? Well that was me on Saturday (02.06.18)! It has a middle eastern, North African style food them, so was right up our street. Thank you x
