Enjoyed the dim sum - Edit
We only ate two dim sum dishes, but both were really good. Too much mock meat, we prefer veggies.

A must visit in Vegas - Edit
We tried the cream cheese wontons (yum though a little sickly after half a dozen), and the lunch specials, which came with a soup. I tried the fish and tofu stir fry - really good. The staff were nice, all the food was delicious and the little guava lollies at the end when we paid were a nice touch.

I WANTED to love it… - Edit
I was so excited to try this place I drove straight there after landing at 9 AM from NYC. There were about 8 people waiting outside - all Asian - a good sign!
Read moreWe ordered the chrysanthemum tea which tasted like lightly sugared water (they took it off the bill without us even asking)
Juices are bottled Tropicana
Pad Thai was decent
Tom yum soup had nice flavor but not complex like Thai soups would be
The shu mai and lantern dumplings tasted kinda doughy, thick and possibly understeamed
The tofu and veggie sizzler platter was bland! Like they forgot to season it.
Everyone was very nice, service was fast, and it was AWESOME to have all the options but i think I’m spoiled having had tastier food.
I’m so sorry, if i give it another try on this trip ill update the review!

Loved it! - Edit
Tried Chef Kenny’s for the first time and loved it! Faux meats were perfect (some maybe too perfect?). Just like our old meat eating days at a Chinese restaurant. The crispy beef was our favorite. Kung pao chicken was great. We liked the spicy pad Thai, although I wouldn’t consider it spicy. And not fond of the shrimp in the pad Thai. Too much like shrimp I guess.

Overhyped - Edit
I was really excited to try this place after all the reviews and hype but honestly it was overall disappointing. The food lacked flavor and the service was less than stellar. A lot of the dishes also don’t come with tofu and to add it would be an additional $10. Overall would not return here again

What a great experience!
Read moreAll the food is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is attentive and friendly. The experience is also very fun: ordering a bunch of little plates and sharing among everyone with the rotating “lazy Susan” in the middle of the table.
I only had a chance to take one photo because we devoured the food haha
Would love to come back here again and again!
Pros: delicious food, attentive staff, fun dim sum experience

ABSOLUTE FIRE 🔥🔥🔥 - Edit
This is the best vegan Chinese food in the USA.. had the pork dumplings, shrimp dumplings, wontons, and the crispy beef meal. Anyone that rated Chef Kenny less than 5 stars must have got dropped on their head as a child. I brought my entire non vegan carnist family here and they raved about it for months.
Read moreEvery single item we ordered was exploding with flavor and the service was incredible, and all of this at a completely reasonable price. If you haven't had the Vegas Vegan Dim Sum then you haven't lived. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Absolute Must Stop - Edit
This was one of the most delicious fully vegan restaurants I have ever been to. They have all of the typical Chinese entrees and appetizers dim sum and sushi (and more than just your standard avocado roll). I will absolutely return and could not recommend this place more highly to anyone vegan or non-vegan. I went with my non-vegan best friend and he was also very impressed with the food!

Delicious - Edit
This place has so many options and variety at great prices! Such a good place to order a bunch and share. We got a couple entrees to split and some dimsum starters. All were great, there was one we got that wasn’t our favorite but just a preference thing. The siu mai was an interesting flavor we both weren’t fond of & kind of an interesting texture but we were happy we tried it! We shared the mongolian “beef” and orange “chicken” and some dumplings. The star of the show was probably the baked. buns which are a classic and it was so nostalgic to have a vegan option!

An absolute masterpiece - Edit
Honestly the best food I have eaten in a long time, if not forever! We had the Kung pao v chicken, house chow mein, spicy vegan crispy beef alongside (I think) sweet rice vegan pork dumpling and pan-fried pork dumplings. Everything was amazing! And there was enough for me to take back for when late night hunger struck!

Divine! - Edit
We ordered beef, chicken, shrimp kung pow, steamed bbq bun, cream cheese wontons, and the orange chicken. Everything was absolutely excellent. The bun was very fluffy and the meat inside was well flavored. The kung pow was very juicy and flavorful. The beef kung pow was both of our favorites out of everything. The orange chicken tasted very classic. The cream cheese wontons were crispy and the cream cheese was slightly sweet and delicious. We will definitely order again to try more things.

Glad It’s Vegan but Not a Repeat - Edit
Tried Chef Kenny’s Vegan Dim Sum and left feeling mixed. The fried wontons were the highlight with a nice flavor in the filling. The orange chicken was fine but nothing that stood out or made me want to come back for it. The braised tofu with vegetables was disappointing as the tofu was soft and mushy and the sauce didn’t have much flavor. The brown rice was surprisingly good. Service was quick and friendly and I appreciate that the whole menu is vegan but overall the food didn’t impress enough for a return visit.

Everything vegan! - Edit
Such a relief for this vegan, knowing I don't have to ask if there's any egg, fish oil etc. I had the Beef Broccoli lunch special. Very tasty, generous portions. Since dim sum is headlined in the business name, I had pork buns. Wish I was in a part of 10 so I could try many more dishes.

Dim sum oasis - Edit
Substantial dim sum menu, with other options too. I thought the siu mai were just okay (didn't love the texture) but the steamed BBQ 'pork buns were excellent and so were the custard buns. Nice cool and quiet vibes feel like an escape from the heat and noise of Vegas. The classic Chinese zodiac placemat is nostalgic.

Las Vegas vegan scene is top notch… - Edit
So much to choose from on the menu from dim sum to traditional Chinese dishes to sushi rolls. I opted to focus in on the dim sum menu and tried the siu mai and fried chicken which were pretty good. My favorite were the turnip cake which was well seasoned and the banana leaf sweet rice which contained pieces of chicken, peanuts and garbanzo beans. Just so good. I would certainly pay another visit if I’m ever in town again to try some other things off the menu. Really impressed by the vegan scene in Las Vegas. It hasn’t disappointed.

The menu is massive. The waiter helped me decide between a few dishes. I finally decided to order the Kung Pao beef and it was hot and fresh at my table in under 10 minutes. So flavorful and good! They have chili oil at the table to make anything more spicy, too.

A must while in Las Vegas - Edit
This is the place to bring your non-vegan loved ones as proof of how amazing vegan food can be. Obviously we all know how great this stuff is, but the team at Chef Kenny’s does an amazing job at veganizing a variety of pan-Asian staples. Everything I have tried is a 10/10, and I definitely recommend the lunch special if you want to try a variety of items!

We loved it! The dim sum is amazing! Loved the vegan egg custard tarts and the vegan egg custard buns. The barbecue pork buns were so good. Also the mushroom dumplings. Loved the cream cheese wontons and the beyond meat fried rice. It was all so good!! Also so amazing that there was a crowd there while we were there on a Monday. Love to see a totally vegan place with business!!
