Authentically classy, clean and healthy. - Edit
Every time I go, I am surprised all over again at how clean, delicious and genuine this place is. It’s expensive but every time I go, I remember it’s one of my favorite vegan spots in LA. The salads make a plant based eater blissed - kale ceasar and seaweed kale are my favorites! Raw pesto kelp noodles and raw lasagna for us living food folk. Macro flair to everything else. And the desserts are really something else. Love the wellness shots as appetite stimulants before the meal. Set in lovely Larchmont. Staff is always cool af and down-to-Earth city-style.

One of my favorites for the food and the vibes - Edit
Cafe Gratitude has a special place in my heart as far as vegan restaurants go because not only is the food good, but the vibes are always so nice. The menu is all affirmations, there’s usually a question of the day, and sometimes you get a plate where as you eat your food it reveals a message saying “what are you grateful for?” This was my first time at this location, but I’ve been going to Cafe Gratitude for years now and have visited all the other locations that are now closed. Service was excellent and the food was delicious.

Even better than it was in SF! - Edit
I miss Cafe Gratitude. I lived near the first location in SF, used to go there all the time. Then we had locations all over the Bay Area! ….and then we had none. Sigh.
Read moreAnyway, this location in Hollywood is amazing! Even better than it used to be. Smoothies, healthy bowls, lots of raw food options. They’ve added some really great appetizers, the coconut calamari is a must try as well as the buffalo cauliflower. Love the salads, the little gem Caesar is a standout. Great bowl medleys, the Indian curry bowl is probably my fav. Top notch smoothies, good coffee and nice beer selection. I absolutely LOVE the raw desserts. I’d advise probably trying them all.

They are great! - Edit
Popped here after visiting paramount. We were very early in the day and got very lucky with parking. So managed a spot right outside.
Read moreMenu is great, had a lot of character with quickly positive names for all the dishes. Staff give you a question of the day to think about, but they are very chill about it. You can ignore them and just order without if you want. Staff were super friendly and accommodating, Coffee was great! I visited in October so got a cute pumpkin on my oat latte.
Shared the chicken and waffles and a steak sandwich. If you like mushrooms as steak and chicken replacements these are both great. The staff did check when we ordered if we were ok with mushrooms. Sandwich has a choice of sides. I opted for the breakfast potatoes which were salted and roasted.
Waffles were great and the fried mushroom as a chicken replacement was delicious. Food is very rich but if you fancy something a little naughty. Would highly recommend for breakfast.
Pros: Friendly staff , Great food , Interesting concept
Cons: Limited parking

We were only in LA for the day (as part of a longer trip), but had to make sure we booked a table having heard such great things back home (in the UK).
Read moreThe bar was high and the food did not disappoint! We shared some I am Delectable (corn ribs to start). My husband had the I Am Magical (burger) and I had the Yo Soy Mucho (similar to a burrito bowl - beans, rice, grains, guac etc).
Food was brilliant and the staff were really friendly. Prices are a bit above average, but I've not spent long enough in LA to compare if this is the norm.
Overall, loved the experience and would love to come back!
Pros: Huge menu, Delicious, tastes fresh

deliciousss - Edit
i got the sausage pizza without the red peppers and it was soo yummy. i liked how the pizza was thin crust and the sausage had some spice. also got a side of sauteed spinach bcs it came w my friends dish and loved it. the bill was kinda ridiculously though lol. we got an app, two entrees, and the extra side and it was over $80 LOL. i think its just bcs its such a celebrity spot. food was yummy but not enough to want to come back during our short trip and spend sm. plus theyve got honey which is just ridiculous. how hard is it to use a vegan alternative ? its just infuriating lol. literally everything is vegan but the honey. soo stupid and totally speciesist. major turn off.

My favorite restaurant in LA - Edit
Of all the restaurants I visited, this one definitely stands out. Healthy yet SUPER tasty and creative dishes. I had the gratitude Japanese bowl, "kansha", with an add-on of pumpkin tofu and blackened tempeh. The smoked tofu in this dish certainly draws your attention, but the sides also speak for themselves. You know how you usually save the best for last when eating healthy dishes? I wasn't sure what to leave for last, so I just ate small portions of each component because they just worked so well. I didn't love the pumpkin tofu, but it came in a sauce that just made it taste amazing too. I also tasted my husband's pasta and the coconut calamari. Definitely recommend everything.

Holy [censored] they just added these spiced corn ribs. They are AMAZING (and messy. Do not order on first date.).
Read moreI love gratitude. There's so much on the menu that is healthy, and there's so much that is decadent. Whatever you're in the mood for it is always good, comfortable and easy-going atmosphere.
They keep raising their prices so it's not for the faint hearted but they do deliver in quality. It broke my heart when they closed the cafe gratitude downtown. When I was working downtown I used to eat there about three days out of the week .
Made friends with several of the waitresses. Today was the most perfect weather and we sat at the outside tables with a light breeze delicious food and just gratitude for being alive.

Delicious healthy vegan food - Edit
Menu had so much to choose from, and it was great to find a vegan restaurant with lots of healthy plant based options, rather than your typical vegan junk food.
Read moreFood was delicious - only complaint was allergy information was wrong. I was given an allergy sheet which I ordered ‘safe’ options from, only to be later told that the food I had ordered did actually contain my allergens. If the manager hadn’t double checked, this could’ve led to a hospital trip. Perhaps I was given an out of date list? Unfortunately this delayed our meal quite a bit.
Pros: Lots of options, Healthy
Cons: Allergy procedure needs improving

Food was good, restaurant was hot! - Edit
Staff was super nice, you order off the menu and they respond back with positive affirmations since each dish is titled a positive affirmation. We got the nachos and they were delicious, but too full for my meal after. I got a burrito which was fine but my husband got chicken and waffles with mushrooms and it was kind of amazing. Super good. The atmosphere was hot as balls, they wouldn’t turn on the ac and it was 82degrees in the restaurant making it really uncomfortable to eat. People were fanning themselves with the menus, just be prepared to be hot.
