My go to Indian spot

They can make lots of entrees vegan. When I do a pick up order I just let them know I'm vegan and they work with me. Sometimes it does take awhile for the food to be ready but I it's very good Indian food

Best vegan Indian in LA

I LOVE Star of India. 90% of the time it's really delicious and they have a variety of clearly labeled vegan options. The tofu masala and tarka dal are my favorites. Sometimes it seems like the chef is having an off day, but it's never so bad that I wouldn't go back. The worst is when the roti is undercooked or they get the spice level completely wrong.
A little pricey (and prices have gone up recently) but if you order from their website you get rice included with each entrée & they deliver within 5 miles I think.

Pros: Tons of options, Clearly labeled menu

Cons: A bit expensive, No vegan garlic bread option, just plain

So many great vegan options!

This Indian restaurant has a very extensive vegan and vegetarian menu. I tried several different dishes and was very happy with the quality and taste. They also do a vegan naan (it has another name but I forget) with vegan butter. The owners were so helpful and knowledgeable they even offered to make certain non vegan items vegan for me. They didn’t have an eggplant dish on the vegan menu but it was on the vegetarian menu so they made adjustments to it for me. I highly recommend eating here!!

Pros: So many vegan options , Very affordable , Owners and staff are amazing!

Cons: They use styrofoam for some to go items, Wasteful to go containers
