full plant based menu along with the regular menu made for a great lunch for the whole family. everyone enjoyed their food and i didn't have to deal with the complaints the kids often voice of having to eat vegan.

I literally could not talk to my dining companion but eating his food. It was just too delicious and required my full attention. The dishes are creative, plentiful, diverse – and most of all scrumptious. This place is a find!

It took me a minute to find the place, but once I walked in, I was happy that it was tiny, cute, and intimate. I had to find a place around or near Newtown to bring some non vegan family members and this was the most logical choice. At first I was confused because the vegan menu is called Green Tea, but once I found the menu, I was blown away by all the options. I tried a salad that was covered in various seaweed and poached pears. It was awesome. Everyone else also seemed to enjoy their meals. I will definitely be coming back here at some point with my vegan sister to try more of the menu.

What a great place to enjoy a vegan meal. They have a separate vegan menu called Green Tea. I had the Vegano Crab Cake sandwich and my friend had the Stir Fry over pasta. We share vegan chocolate cake. The atmosphere warm charming. They had a big party there, and we had to wait a while till we got our dinner but we did not mind.

My girlfriend and I just ate at this restaurant and all I can say is WOW. The energy is soup is very good and the vegan cheesesteak is the best I have ever had. The menu is great and I can't wait to go again.

They have two menus - one is entirely vegan. Many options and variety. I will definitely go back - next time I want to try the vegan crab cake sandwich.

Wanted to like the vegan options since the green tea menu has so many of them. The Pad Thai and vegan crab cakes were uninspired is the best word I can come up with to describe them. Mushroom sage soup was very good though.

Cafe Con Leche has a separate vegan menu they call "Green Tea". We tried Daniel's Chipotle Hummus with pita to start. It was good but not among the best hummus I've ever had. For my main plate I had the Cheikan Provencal. They use house made seitan for their cheikan and it's amazing. The texture was perfect. My spouse had the cheikan marsala and loved it as well. For dessert we had the Chocolate Raspberry Cake and I ended up wishing I ordered my own so I didn't have to share!
Overall, everything was really good and all of the ingredients obviously very fresh.

I have been eating at Café Con Leche for more than 15 years and have always been impressed by the quality of the food, the variety of the menu items and the warm personal service. But I have been wowed this summer by the fabulous new vegan menu. After trying at least five of the new options, I am happy to report that the menu is a huge success. can't wait to go back and try something else.
