El chico que nos ha atendido, Carlos, ha sido súper amable y agradable desde el principio y nos ha explicado todo. Los ingredientes son de calidad y los platos están muy bien elaborados. Al final nos ha salido a muy buen precio para todo lo que hemos comido y lo bueno que estaba. Un lugar encantador para quien ya disfruta de nuevos platos veganos y para quien aún se tenga que convencer de lo rico que se cocina.

Read moreThe CactusCat Bar in Barcelona gave me more than one amazing experience to enjoy it's delicious vegan dishes. On entering this air conditioned space I, from California, felt both refreshed and welcomed by it's inviting decor and staff. Carlos, who is the co-owner, is delightful and helpful. Much preparation and detail was given to plates served. For example the carpaccio is a tasty and beautiful creation of a variety of vegetables. Another example is their Green Love Smoothy. It is an interesting combination of veggies that is both healthy and tasty. Their English breakfast, eggplant and avocado crostinis, pancakes and carrot cupcakes are all homemade and delicious. The service was excellent. I felt welcomed and attended to. Do make a reservation when possible because it is a popular local eatery. You will be grateful on arriving and joyously satisfied when you depart. Be ready to return again and again.

There's so much vegan food to try in Barcelona. Today I went to this place with my friend because I wanted to try the English breakfast. It was not disappointing! They serve it all day so you don't have to be worried that you can't get it if you are like us and go out to have breakfast at 2 pm. The sausages had a lot of taste and the scrambled tofu (which I hadn't tried before) was very delicious as well. We also had a triple cheese crostini which was pretty good. And a smoothie of the day with a special taste. I couldn't figure out what it was but I liked it. The owner (I guess it was), a guy from Australia, was very friendly and nice to us. Go visit the place!

Ha sido una excelente experiencia. Llevaba tiempo que quería probar y a veces pensaba que igual la comida no sería tan buena y me han probado lo contrario, una de las mejores experiencias en Barcelona comiendo vegano. Son auténticos, 100% veganos. El atendimoento ha sido mi parte favorita, son súper amables y con buena charla. El ambiente del espacio es genial, tiene bastante espacio, mesas muy cómodas y me encanta la decoración también ❤️❤️❤️

We ended up returning here 2 days in a row as we enjoyed the CactusCat Bar so much.

On the second day I had the meal of the day, lasagna and salad for €9.50. It was delicious!!! The portion was a little small for me but I’m pretty greedy so likely it’s the perfect size for others.
The owners were very friendly and gave us some recommendations for what else to see in the city and were attentive beyond belief. Great overall experience

We happened to stumble across this little place while walking the streets and so glad we did!! The owner was so lovely and went above and beyond to make it a really great experience. The food was delicious and full of flavour with brunch options and veganised Spanish foods. Highly recommend!

Read moreWe were greeted with a smile and immediately offered water, which was drunk in seconds, as we had been walking around Barcelona all day and were hot and exhausted.
The smoothies we ordered were cool and refreshing and not overpowered by any particular ingredient and two customer specific smoothies were made for our "spoilt" children, who were more than happy to take advantage of the opportunity to choose their own ingredients when offered the chance.
We went for a variety of the mains on offer and not a single scrap was left on a plate, which if not for other people in the restaurant, would have been licked clean as well!!
Oh man, the chocolate cake. The best we have ever tested. Yes, we went back the next afternoon to have some more of the chocolate cake.
The two guys who run the place are great - friendly and eager to hear about your adventures and offer information and interesting places to visit (and take the children).
What a find. This restaurant and the two guys that run it are what a Vegan eatry is.
Can you post chocolate cake from Spain to England?

I can't wait to go back to CactusCat Bar, I had very tasty Mac and cheese and soup, great matcha smoothie and coffee with coconut milk (YES!). But most of all, the owner and the staff were super nice to us, it's so hard to find genuinely kind people these days that I really felt like a guest at their house more than a customer. Absolutely recommended!!!

Just finished my third meal @ Cactus Cat Bar, creamy cheddary al dente VEGAN mac'n'cheese that gave me a "Ratatoulle" moment of going back to my childhood years with one bite, and an earth-shattering slice of peanut butter chocolate VEGAN cake: my eyes have feasted, my body is feeling buzzed, and my wallet is even smiling back at me. Bravo, boys!

Loved this place, stumbled across it as was staying in nearby area of Sant antoni. Owner was so delightfully friendly and the cafe had a lovely interior and v clean and welcoming😄got the English breakfast which was so delicious and really hit the spot and a green juice to go. Like other reviews have said the owner was so chatty and lovely and made you feel at home. Highly highly recommend!!

The food here is great! They don’t have a huge menu, but quality over quantity- the food here is quality. I had the pancakes twice, I also had the 3 cheese sandwich. My partner had the big breakfast twice, the scrambled tofu is heavenly. They have a rotating menu for throughout the week with a couple of items, then some menu items that are available every day. the owner is also so sweet, he gave us directions and recommendations for different locations around Barcelona.

Lovely wee place - Edit
We were only in Barcelona for a flying visit yesterday but this popped up when looking for somewhere to go for lunch. A lovely relaxed atmosphere with delicious food. The owner was very nice (sorry didn’t manage to catch his name) he chatted to us for a bit which made the lunch even more enjoyable.
