Must visit!

This is perfect vegan junk food! The portion size is excellent (something that a lot of places mess up) and the cakes are heavenly! The staff are also very welcoming and willing to help. Do not pass up an opportunity to eat here!

Pros: Cake cake cake!

Cons: It's not nearer to me!

Amazing

I had the chilli cheez chips and it was gorgeous. Really enjoyed it. Also bought donuts for the family to have later on and they were really tasty. Great range of vegan snack bars/drinks etc. Highly recommend.

Wonderful, friendly place, good location and AMAZING FOOD!!!

We were so pleased to finally be able to visit this gem and weren't disappointed. We were welcomed by friendly owners who were only too happy to help, we ordered a Hunters Chick'n burger with chips and a mayo chick'n burger with chips, the portion size is great, with sauces available too. We fell in love with their chick'n burgers, better than any we have had before, light fluffy and a great taste- the bbq sauce was also delicious! WE would definetly return if in the area and the prices were very resonable too. Fantastic little place.

Pros: The Chick'n Burgers, Lots of choice for dessert, great tasting and good value

Cons: Quite small place

Incredible!

The best junk food vegan place I’ve ever been to (even beats those in Brighton) the notzzarella sticks are to die for and the owners are so lovely! Such a nice atmosphere and amazing tasting food! Only issue is my eyes much larger than my stomach, wish I could eat it all - hard to pick just one thing to eat!

Pros: Delicious food , Awesome vibe , Yummy milkshakes

Cons: None

Best burger ever.

I had the classic which was the nicest burger I have ever eaten. My wife had the Mac and cheese and she was similarly impressed. Absolutely spoilt for choice with cakes and puds. We had choc brownie sundae which was just fab. Staff really friendly. And it's all vegan!!😃

A long-awaited all-vegan addition to Worthing!

For those of us living outside of Brighton, the arrival of Cactus Kitchen Gals in Worthing has been the answer to our vegan prayers! Vegan fast food all prepared to order. We’ve been a few times now and we love the burgers - the panko-coated Seitan burger and the jackfruit “crabby patty” are both really tasty. It’s good to see some experimentation on the menu like Sunday Brunch and Toastie Tuesday - I just wish we could go every day to try it all out!

Pros: All Vegan including cakes and cookies , The nozzarella sticks are amazing!, They do take-away!

Cons: It’s a small unit so a tight squeeze if busy, Some people says it’s a bit pricey £7 burgers

Disappointing

Having grew up in Worthing and spotted this place upon a recent visit back home I was really excited to try Worthing’s first food lookin vegan joint.

After being turned away twice first due to a full house and then because of a lunch break not stipulated in the opening hours, I booked for lunch on a Friday afternoon.

We showed up on time and found the place near empty so after a lack of any friendly welcome took our seats.

As time passed and we’d each received our complimentary pickle we were told to go to the till to order.

After an unreasonably long wait (bearing in mind we were the only two waiting on food) we received our single glass of tap water (to share presumably) and our food; the special burger, cheese fries and deep fried pickles.

For £16 we had some bland fried pickles and cheesey fries on a level not far from Wetherspoons. The special burger contained a single lettuce leaf and “grilled apple” which turned out to be a slice of Granny Smith wider than the chewy seitan patty the size of a generous canapé. The selling point of this special burger was the pulled bbq aubergine and lentils of which was barely visible never mind detectable as a flavour.

I’ve been a vege for years and make a better burger when sick.

Really disappointed in the lack of a friendly service and the shoddy food.

Amazing restaurants seem to crop up in this spot and never make it- the curse continues...

Pros: Cute name

Cons: Food, Service, Price

Great pub food

The cactus kitchen girls run the kitchen at the c/ side quest. It's a pub full of free board and video games and some arcade games. Relaxed atmosphere, fun place with outstanding veiws of Brighton pier and the beach. We had burgers and a sharing plate of sides. I had the special which was german bratwurst on a pretzle bun loaded with cheezy sauce. Really enjoyed it. The seitan strips are totally banging. So tasty, great texture. They do vegan mozzarella sticks too, which are so good but quite rich so they are good to share. Onion rings and chips were amazing too. My only criticism would be the portions of dipping sauces were a little small though to be honest I didn't ask if I was allowed more. It's not a huge amount of choice but I enjoyed it so much I will definitely go back to try the other dishes. The pub itself is not 100% vegan. They offer cow and plant milk for coffee and tea and some of the alcohol may not be suitable but the staff are on it and very helpful.

Pros: Taste! , Gluten free options , Great vibe/ free games

Cons: Not cheap

Great vegan burger / cool place

Tasty substantial vegan burger, fries and onion rings in a cool bar with games (board or video), distressed brick and chipboard decor, good choice of beers.
They are building up the menu with brunch and jackfruit steaks - recently opened.
Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
Right on the beach, this place will be packed in summer - enjoy it this winter before it gets too busy.

Pros: all food is vegan

Cons: like everywhere the beer is not cheep
