Vegan gözleme and lentil soup! - Edit
Lovely traditional Turkish restaurant where the staff understands vegan food. 2 ladies inside the shop are making delicious gözleme on a big cooking plate. You can choose your own fillings (ours was lentils, potatoes, and eggplants). Also make sure to try the lentil soup as that was really great as well.

Çalışanlar aşırı kibar. Vegan olduğumuzu söyleyince daha da ilgili davrandılar. Karışık gözleme, patates salatası ve içecek aldım. Yanında turşu vb. getiriyorlar. Gözlemeler çok doyurucu ve tadı çok güzel. Üstelik çok ucuz her şey. Kesinlikle favori mekanlarımdan biri.

The gözleme here are totally made to order: you pick your ingredients and they roll the dough out and form it with your ingredients in there and cook it right in front of you. So be warned that it’s going to be absolutely piping hot!

This place specializes in gözleme (bütme), a grilled flatbread stuffed with fillings. There are many options for vegan fillings. Let the staff know you're vegan so that they do not bring accompaniments (butter and yogurt). The mixed meze plate (karışık tabagi) is vegan also. I think this place offers good value for money. They have outdoor seating in the back if you'd like to sit outside. I'm pretty sure the hours are more expansive than the listing claims, too!

There is a variety of vegetable fillings to choose from. Make sure to tell them you are vegan, otherwise they will serve it with yoghurt and butter on the side.
