Not worth the hype - Edit
The food really wasn’t very good - it was obvious the paella in our plate from microwaved so much it was chewy and stuck to the plate. Would give one star if I could.

I was a second time there with my fam and we tried another plate (Mediterranean) and had paellas. This was ok but nothing special to be fair. Also it’s a little pricey imo but u can go there a have a nice date with ur partner and/or ur family. The service is amazing!!

Vegan paella a must try! - Edit
Loved the “chicken” paella, and the choc torte dessert. Great vibe and music. Prices the only thing holding this back from 5*.

Lovely sangria & tapas bar - Edit
Absolutely love the concept of this sangria & tapas bar. We tried 2 different sangria's: the "Monnalisa" with cava, passion fruit & lime, orange and mint, and the "Sancta Inquisitione", with red wine, sherry, aged tequila and blackberry. Both original takes on the classic sangria. For tapas, we had the "bubita dips", being an extremely good curry dip (pretty sure I tasted black cardamom), hummus, guacamole & tomato paste served with fresh bread. Ask for extra bread because the standard ratio is a bit off. We also had the porcini mushrooms croquettes and the baked gnocchi with cherry tomatoes, tomato paste & vegan parmesan, which were really nice as well. And we ended up also ordering the vegalencia paella with Heura's plantbased chicken, corn, peppers & lemon. For dessert, we decided to try the coulant/moelleux, which was fine, but tasted like it was made in a factory. Nevertheless, besides the dessert we basically enjoyed all the food as well as the laid-back atmosphere and the friendly service. Will definitely return next time we're in Barcelona!

5 star food but a bit pricey - Edit
We had 2 different paellas which were awesome but a bit too small portions. Afterwards we checked on one of the tapas-plates as well; with different vegan cheeses. They were amazing, but again a bit small portion for the money.

Paella was very small and pricey - Edit
I was really hyped and looking forward to try this place but it really disappointed. It’s quite expensive and I missed the tastiness typical of Spanish food. Everything was quite bland in my opinion, and the cocktails were also not the best… It‘s possible to find better vegan food and for cheaper here in Barcelona. Oh and the portions were also quite small.

So good. For vegans (fully plant based menu) and non-vegans alike, the food and sangria are fantastic, matched by the staff and vibe of the restaurant. Get extra croquettes - you won’t regret it

If you’re looking good vibes and tapas, Bubita does the job super well. The porcini croquettes were a must try — it was super creamy, aromatic, crispy…

Delicious brunch, dinner and drinks! - Edit
We came in for brunch and loved it here, the menu is different after 4pm and I wanted to try a cocktail so we came back the next day for dinner. Both meals were great, would recommend all the dishes we had; pancakes, chicken bagel for brunch and chicken paella, gnocchi and mushroom croquettes from the evening menu. Cocktails were great. Outdoor seating was nice to people watch.

A small, cute restaurant with an outdoor area. We really wanted to try vegan paellas and here we got what we expected: a good vegan version of the Spanish dish.
