Delicious tapas - Edit
Great place with outside seating and helpful staff. The hardest thing was choosing what to order. Everything we had tasted great. Really nice cocktails too.

We had the tapas platter. So delicious. Great if you want to try a bit of everything. The risotto filled peppers were the best part! Shrimp very realistic. Cocktails good. Staff were friendly. Lovely atmosphere sitting outside

Fantástico - Edit
It’s a tapas bar, so yes, small portions. For two, we had a delicious variety, including dessert and were happily nurtured and filled. Each tapas had a unique flavor, texture, home made quality and was definitely made with great vegan care. Lot‘s of gratitude for the staff that run this place.

Would move to Barcelona to eat/drink here - Edit
Super cool vibe here and the “chicken” paella was great. Not only in flavor but you can get a Mini Paella without having to order a 3’ pan of it. If I was hi Grier I’d have tried a lot more.
Read moreNow the drinks. I had the Fría (actually 2 of them) and the Romero Spritz from the Special Cocktails menu and both were fantastic! Whoever created them should win an award Daphne, the bartender this night, made them to perfection.
Is - the vibe is casual. Saturday night in June and I could have worn shorts and a casual shirt (unlike I’ve read on the internet). I hate pants so it’s shorts next time! 😃

Portions too small for the price - Edit
Overall I had a good time here and the sangria (I took the classic one, the morgana) was good.
Read moreBut the food was way too small. They only had mini paellas and the portions were really small, you shouldn’t be really hungry before going there. I tried the chicken paella and it was good though (11€). One of my friend took the fondue and they only got 2 poor little pieces of bread and when they asked for more they gave some poor sticks and charged 3€ for it. The dates bacon it’s only 2 poor pieces as well and something that costs 7€. I think there’s a problem regarding quantity/price. Also the waiter was clearly on cocaine.
I wanted to try the paella and that’s why I went there but I wouldn’t recommend or come back.

Definitely go here! The drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) were amazing - it's no wonder they keep winning awards! We had several of their tapas as well and they were all good.

Favorite food in Barcy - Edit
The food here was just phenominal. So unique and the flavors were unreal. Only con is that there’s no clearly marked GF options which can be difficult but our waiter was very knowledgeable. The eggs Benedict were SO real tasting!

Good brunch, but strange flavours. - Edit
I was spoiled by brunch at Asante Café the day before I visited Bubita, so maybe they didn’t stand a chance in comparison. I enjoyed my meal but I thought the scrambled “eggs” had a strange salty, buttery flavour. If my stay in Barcelona was longer, I would have liked to try their paellas and other tapas.

Overall a nice spot - but the price ratio was high for what you get - Edit
We really appreciated the menu for very unique and well thought tapas! But overall the place felt a bit pricey for what you would get. We paid 10 euro for a potato “nest” that was partially cold. Similar with the other tapas - the portions were rather little.

Absolutely worth the price tag. The food is absolutely impeccable and the drinks are delicious and fun. I genuinely can't believe what we ate was vegan. Maybe our best meal in Barcelona, possibly of our lives. And it was sangria and tapas.
