This place so good we good we visited twice! This intimate restaurant is a stone throw away from the beach up a quiet side street. The staff were very friendly and helpful towards my food allergies. The food was spectacular and very healthy. We will definitely return next time we visit Barcelona

Amazing food! - Edit
That old vegan problem - not used to fabulous choices of food so didn't know what to pick!
Read moreEventually chose the 'calamares' as a shared starter followed by burgers and shared a 'Tirawmisu' plus an amazing sangria with rose syrup decorated with rose petals. The staff were fab too, we arrived half an hour before afternoon closing but happily served us. Definitely worth a detour!

This is a place you must visit twice - once for their tapas anf once for their burgers. Plus, you can't go through their extensive sangria menue in one night.

One of the best in town! - Edit
The selection of creams (pesto, hummus, olives' paté...) and the burgers are simply amazing. Portions are generous too! The atmosphere is nice, the bar is full of colours, it's very close to the beach, and the staff is friendly.

Perfecto for vegans and omnivores - unite to eat susainable! - Edit
A great location by the beach with a hip, cozy ambience, nice music and excellent attentive service. We ordered the cream combination platter with a selection of delicious hummus, tapenades,, pesto and curry dips, then the super delicious mock shrimp with arugula and the crispy mock calamari. Our small group of vegans and omnivores were all happy, impressed and definitely will return. Viva! The sangrias are a bit sweet - we liked the spicy ginger white sangria that was served with a chile pepper garnish. The staff will add more wine to make the sangria less sweet. Very tasty though.

Vegan Burgers! - Edit
We got lost trying to find this little gem through the hidden streets near Barceloneta beach! we had two vegan burgers (cannot remember the exact ones) and they came with some salad and a few crisps. It is a small place but the guy who served us was lovely. Was nice to find a place so close to the beach as we were starving!

Nice place to go near by the beach - Edit
It was our first visit at Bar Celoneta. The location is a bit hidden, near by the beach of Barcelona. A small bar with a few tables only. All dishes are vegan. We had some tapas and a couple of burgers, everything very delicious and the staff was very friendly. It is absolutely recommendable (also the drinks - 'Monnalisa' was perfect).

Perfect - Edit
Great cozy and friendly place hidden in a calm street just beside the beach. Food was amazing and portions big. Sangrias are kind of a trademark and there are non-alchohol types (delicious). One of the best findings in Barcelona. Huge recommendation.

Amazingly good food - Edit
I dont see how there can be any reviews below 5 stars here. Its a cozy little beach feel, quaint, but the food is unbelievably good. I am vegan 15 years and never had anything like it. There is calamari and gambas that taste EXACTLY like the real thing. Blown away. I went with two meet eaters and they were also amazed. Congratulations to the chefs. This is a place worth flying to from another country for lunch.

Creative names - Edit
Like the name of the place the owner has gone wild on the menu as well which is very funny. The food is a little less funny. My vegetables were over cooked and my potatoes were too oily. Staff is friendly, atmosphere is nice. Seats not very comfy. Price is a little high for the "quality".

Amazing Tapas! - Edit
I had my Easter Sunday meal at this restaurant and was completely amazed! I went with my grandmother and ordered many tapas (Brochetas de Tempeh, The Vegan Aliens, Delicia de Calamares a la Andaluza, y las Patatas Bar Celoneta) - normally I find "vegan" alternatives change tapas too much, but not here. Everything was delicious, tasty and filling! Would definitely recommed the Brochetas and the "Calamares", but so much a fan of the Aliens however.
Pros: variety / variedad, great for sharing excellent food, wonderful vibe
Cons: Some tables have little light, some are pleasant, Paella only on Thurs- if I understood correctly...

Best sangria and tapas - Edit
Brutally good and cozy place. A must to go to if you're in Barcelona. Plenty of delightful sangria to choose from and absolutely stunning vegan tapas. Batatas bravas are great but the highlight for me are the vegan calamari. Friendly stuff, speak fluently Italian, Spanish and English. Paella is good as well but a little bit too greasy. Overall a great experience.

Delicious Tapas & Sangria - Edit
Loved this place. Its brilliant to have delicious alcohol free sangria on offer as well as normal sangria. We shared various tapas dishes: potatoes, dips with bread sticks, vegan prawns and the tempeh skewers (which were to die for!). The raw tiramisu for dessert was also very tasty.

Not awarded 5 stars as some dishes a little too oily and too salty but it really was one of the best meals we had in Barcelona. Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved this place. It is a very discreet place by the beach, with h a very nice, cosy environment. The sangria was just amazing (even though a little pricy) and the food just wonderful. The raw spaghetti is a very yummy light meal, but if you do feel a little bit more hungry definitely go for the burguer with the hummus!! :)
