Delicious food and sangria with non alcoholic opinions - Edit
Delicious food, beautiful presentation, sangria including non alcoholic options. If you miss seafood they have pretty decent seafood substitute. Amazing desserts.

Good food. Slightly overpriced. - Edit
Nice little vegan restaurant by the beach. The portion sizes are a bit misleading even for tapas, and it’s overpriced for what you get. Paella was good but v expensive for one person and not quite big enough for two, definitely not the best I’ve had! Sangria was also at least 7 euros per glass and they didn’t do jugs of it, which seems odd for a sangria bar! Someone with us had the burger though and said it was the best he’s ever had. Pretty good experience and atmosphere but shame on price and taste.

Just wow - Edit
If you are vegan and visiting Barcelona, you must go here! They are plant based, and I believe some of their food is gluten free.
Read moreEven if you aren’t vegan, the vegan fish is just wow. A little scary in fact, as it tastes just like fish. A cosy, Spanish vibe with great food and even better Sangria. The deserts were great, we had a tiramasu with no sugar (they use dates) and a brawnie, which was really good too. The waiter also suggested other places to go to which was really great. I would also advise booking as there aren’t too many tables and gets quite busy.
For price, 4 tapas dishes, 1 paella, 4 sangrias and 2 deserts was 86 euros. This was for 2 people!
Pros: All plant based (vegan) , Great service, friendly and helpful!, Vegan meat alternatives (shrimp, calamares)
Cons: None!

Disappointed - Edit
My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant twice during our three day stay in Barcelona. Our first visit was on 8/27/19 around 1pm, their opening time. During this visit, we were delighted with their tapas. We had the croquettes and the calamari. My boyfriend, who is not vegan, would not stop bragging about how good the food was. However, when we ordered the paella, we were told they had ran out. I was baffled, being that this the traditional dish and probably the main reason why a vegan would visit the restaurant. However, I was understanding, being that it was early in the day. We were told that if we returned later that day the paella would be ready, but being that we were visiting for such a short amount of time, we were unable to revisit that day because we had other excursions planned. We asked when would be another good time for us to return, and were told that any evening, around 7pm would be best. Following their own advise, we made reservations for 8/29/19 at 7pm, and spent a day and a half looking forward to going back. During our dinner visit, we started off with the tapas again, which were delicious, but didn’t have too much, since we were looking forward to the paella. I honestly wish we had not ordered the paella because it was such a disappointment. The moment it came out by boyfriend looked at me in disgust and said it smelled like Brussel sprouts, which isn’t a very appetizing scent. Since it looked promising, and he’s not much of a veggie eater, I went ahead and tried it for myself. What a mistake. After having a few bites I began to feel sick to my stomach and could not finish the meal. After sitting with the dish in front of us for various minutes and no one coming around to check on us, I finally asked for the bill. When they can go pick up the food, I told the waiter the paella was honestly a disappointment and we did not like it. The waiter brought the bill, and another employee came out to charge our card. While charging our card, she begins to apologize for us not liking our food. She said that they are “having a difficult time receiving their deliveries because most delivery service providers are on vacation. To please come again.” If this is the case, why offer customers a menu item if you know it won’t be your best product. I loved having to pay 16.80 Euros for a dish that 1. I could not have and 2. Made me sick. Very disappointed and WILL NOT be coming back.

Hope to Visit Again - Edit
Barcelona has an incredible vegan food scene, so in order to not spoil our appetite for dinner later we just enjoyed a drink and Pimientos del Piquillo. All was really delicious. Cute décor with friendly service too. We would like to visit again some day and try more food.

Not what I expected - Edit
We sat in the back where the kitchen/ bar area would be in full view. I noticed they microwaved a lot of their food items. Our shrimp was cold shortly after we began to eat. I did not appreciate how little alcohol the person who made the drinks would put. It seemed that he wouldn’t even put a shot amount in the beverage he was making and would put a lot of juice. The did not have paella’s available. The food was not great. The drinks were not great either. It was too overpriced for what the food and drinks were. I wouldn’t recommend it.

During my travels in Barcelona, I visited this place twice because it was just so amazing. The meals are very delicious, especially the paella and potatoes. The sangria is very tasty as well. It is a small and cozy place close to the beach, so it's a perfect stop after a day on the beach. The staff is also very kind!

My boyfriend and I had a 7 hour stop over in Barcelona on our way back to London from Split. We decided we wanted to head to the beach to get our last bit of sun, and I saw on happy cow that this was nearby. We were so hungry and we got there about 1 on the dot, looking very keen! The owner greeted us warmly and spoke to us in English. He was very lovely, and helped us make our choice of sangria (which was delicious). We opted for 3 dishes- the stuffed peppers, the croquettes and the tempeh kebab. All were so fantastic! Couldn’t fault anything. Will definitely be back next time we come to Barcelona.
