Everything was just perfect: staff was super nice, every dish we ordered was just delicious, we loved the atmosphere, the wine they advised us to take was great, they even offered an after-dinner liqueur.

Originally, I went to BrEAThe with a friend during a girl's "Paris vegan food exploration." We both loved our dishes, but what set it apart for us was the great service and the perfect atmosphere- ideal for a family or dinner among friends, but also really good for date night. I have since returned with my visiting family and friend three times, always trying a new dish and never disappointed. Pricey, but worth it.

We are even more sorry to discover it this way more than when we asked you if everything had gone fine when clearing your table, to what you answered to me: « You see, plates are empty !!! » We attach very much importance to customer’s feedback and ask for sincerity and honesty in people’s answers in order to keep on improving the quality of our offer.
About the number of propositions in our menu, we work on a seasonal menu, 100% fresh and homemade, plus daily creations for week’s lunch. A small menu is generally a sign of freshness and handcrafting which is a good point in my opinion.
About the fact that the menu is « uninspired ». To write that kind of thing and that I accept it, you would have had to try more than one item out of the thirteen on our menu. You can not judge our whole work on a single element, it’s not intellectually honest.
Finally, about the prices. All our creations are, once again, 100% fresh and homemade (except the blue cheese in one of our starters, we leave that work to specialists who do it just great !!!), all of our employees are graduated professionals. All this to try and give you a whole experience of food and service. Compared to the Paris vegan restaurants which try to show that vegan food is not only based on fast-food, our price range is pretty average as it’s one of our main goals to show that a plant-based food can be beautiful, tasty AND affordable.
After six months of opening, you are the first person to give us such a bad mark with two stars out of five, which seems pretty harsh to us. We hope that you do realize that creating a restaurant and keeping it open is a 24hours a day job, and that social media can both create or destroy a whole reputation, a reputation so hard to obtain, even with all the passion, the professionalism and the love that we put everyday in our work.
But even if I don’t understand your behaviour and your judgement, I accept it, it will give us more strength and hunger to keep on offering the best experience we can to all of our delighted and beloved customers.

Nicest Vegan in Paris - Edit
This is possibly the best vegan restaurant I've been to in Paris. I would highly recommend for a nice evening, as it caters to a slightly more upscale crowd than most of the vegan restaurants in Paris. I took a meat-eating friend who was shocked how good everything was. Its a bit pricey but not anything above most similar places in Paris.

Nous sommes venues chez brEAThe pour déjeuner un dimanche midi, à deux nous avons testé le menu brunch (jus d'orange, boisson chaude au choix, croissant, wrap et crème brulée pistache) et le club sandwich + moelleux au chocolat. Tout était absolument délicieux, avec une mention particulière pour le croissant (meilleurs que des traditionnels!) et le moelleux avec sa crème anglaise. Nous reviendrons aussi vite que possible! :)

We had a lovely dinner at this place. The curry was fantastic and they have vegan cocktails! (made foamy with aquafaba!). The atmosphere is just like a “regular” restaurant, you will not notice that you are in a vegan place. Also the staff was very friendly. If we visit Paris again, we will defenitely come back here.

Read moreJ'ai beaucoup aimé le style du restaurant, très coloré et branché. Les serveurs ont été très aimables et professionnels tout au long du dîner. Le restaurant était malheureusement un peu bruyant (résonance).
Mon père et moi avons pris des cocktails. Le "Brut de Rien", très généreux, était un peu spécial à mon goût, bien que, j'en suis sûre, d'autres auraient davantage aimé.
Nous avons partagé avec mon père l'assiette apéritive pour deux, délicieuse et copieuse (elle vaut bien deux entrées).
Mon frère a pris du fromage "bleu". Il n'avait pas bien compris que c'était un restaurant vegan, et quand, après avoir goûté son plat, j'ai dit "ça a vraiment le goût de fromage !", il m'a répondu "Bah, c'est pas du fromage ??" Comme quoi, l'imitation était bien réussie !
J'ai ensuite pris un Club sandwich, que j'ai eu dû mal à finir (sûrement à cause de l'apéritif). Bien que ce plat n'avait rien de très original, c'était vraiment très bon.
Mon père a pris un curry rouge qu'il a complimenté plusieurs fois. Il a adoré son plat.
Ma mère n'ayant pas très faim a pris un velouté potiron qu'elle a apprécié. Et mon frère a pris le plat de linguine qu'il a aussi apprécié.
Nous avons aussi été tenté par les desserts, qui m'ont, pour le coup, un peu déçue. Bien que superbement dressés, j'ai trouvé qu'il n'avait pas assez de goût et qu'ils n'étaient pas assez sucrés. Il s'agissait de la tartelette pop corn et du millefeuille (j'ai préféré le millefeuille pour la texture et le goût plus prononcé).
Dans l'ensemble, j'ai adoré ce restaurant. Certes, il s'agit d'un restaurant gourmet donc les plats sont assez chers, mais c'est un lieu idéal pour des occasions spéciales !

Understaffed but nice food - Edit
This place is very understaffed, we went on a Thursday evening for dinner that you would presume should be a fairly quite evening. The place was completely full and had 2 staff members, it just simply wasn't possible to manage all the tables for them. The sharing platter was very nice and the pasta main dish, and the mille-feuille dessert however we didn't really like the "famous" burger. It would be a nice place for dinner if staff was looking after you, the orders and the tables.

You are clearly in the fancy side of the Parisian vegan restaurant offer. Consequently, both the food quality and prices are high. I went there for dinner and had a walnut biscuit with avocado as a starter. This starter was really good, plenty of flavors, but a bit small for the price. I then ordered the burger and the gnocchis as main dishes and enjoyed them a lot. The burger was very satisfying even if the steak was not very consistent. The gnocchis, them, were just perfect! I took a glass of red wine following the advice of the waitress and I didn't regret it. It was very good and perfectly in line with the dishes. For dessert, I took their millefeuille with praliné, a very good one!
On the whole, the place is among the most interesting in Paris, with original flavors. Sometimes, prices are a bit high for the quantity but it's in line with the gourmet style food.
