Pleasant, nice staff - Edit
We arrived around noon but I think it was still the breakfast menu. The omelet sandwich was good. Fresh orange juice, coffee, etc. It is a nice respite from the crowds and only 10 min walk from cathedral after Camiño. Staff speak English and friendly.

Nice food - Edit
The chai latte was really nice. I had the tortilla sandwich which was also nice, but not the best, I ever had. But overall the atmosphere is nice and the waitress is very friendly

Parei a almorzar e escollín a torrada doce con mermelada caseira. Unha delicia. O pan estaba incrible.

Lovely food and service - Edit
The food was delicios, especially the burger and the service also was very nice. A small bar that we really appreciated because it wasn't as noisy as other restaurants.

Lovely service and good food - Edit
The lady behind the counter was lovely and helpful - we felt very well taken care of. We also appreciated tapas (vegan tortilla española) that came with drinks. The food was very good. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was coffee - but fair enough, it’s not a specialty cafe.

Esperaba más… - Edit

Both breakfasts and lunches are delicious, and they have a varied and original menu, which is nice. The ambience and staff are also great.
You can also get desserts to take away, and they are delicious.

This is a really special place with delightful food, a cozy space and lovely staff! I had the Tosta de tofu and it was amazing! Filling, beautifully flavored with grilled veggies and a really nice sauce. And the coffee was great too! Highly recommend for vegans and omnivores alike!

Love it - Edit
Delicious, hearty and such a cute space. I’ve been a fan of the people behind Black Cat Santiago since their Black Cat London days. And love their new menu. Had the breakfast tortillas with tofu scramble which came with an aromatic side salad. Great coffee and pastries too. Just a short walk from the cathedral. Highly recommend

Excellent post Camino food - Edit
I was very happy to find Black Cat after finishing the Camino, when there were days where all I had was potatoes and salad.
Read moreI ate here twice, for breakfast and lunch, and found both to be delicious. They had a good mix of veganized versions of local dishes, and plant heavy dishes.
The vibe is also very cool with the political posters, and the owners were a real pleasure to chat with.
