Good vegan options at a fair price - Edit
I tried the eggplant vegan sandwich and even though it was a simple dish it was very tasty! The price was pretty low, too. The restaurant is super nice inside and they have good service. Glad I visited!

Would deserve a five star rating! - Edit
When it comes to vegan options in Bratislava, you usually have to pick between fully vegan street food bistro, self serving Indian/Thai buffet, or restaurants that offer some vegan options but are sort of uncertain what and how to server to vegans. And then there was Berlinka!😁
Read moreWent there not expecting anything, and left there getting everything I did not expect from a place like this and would give a five star rating if possible without any doubt.
The Restaurant is simply beautiful, located in the Slovak National Gallery and has a very unique, relaxed vibe that is very welcoming.
Tried multiple items from their menu, including their home-made lemonades, weekly vegan special, two items from their regular menu, and one of their vegan cakes which are also made in-house. Without long essays, the food was in one word brilliant, modern fusion style cuisine based on seasonal and local ingredients - their vegan sandwich with aubergine bacon was to die for and just by itself makes you wanna come again the next day. On top everything, the food is also wholesome with maybe the vegan mayo being the only exception.
Add a large play area for kids to complete the incredible experience, and you have all the reasons to pick this place even over some fully vegan restaurants. That is how good Berlinka is.
P.S. Considering that the restaurant is in the city center, the prices are more than fair. Lunch for 2 adults and a child that included 3 mains, soft drinks, beers, and one cake cost us 40 Euros without the tip.
Pros: Beautiful, kids friendly place, Delicious food
Cons: Vegan selection is delicious, still rather small
