Minimal options - Edit
The vegan options have greatly depleted since the last person visited. My dish was a lightly seasoned flatbread, a pot of hummus, carrots/cucumber sticks and olives. It did the job, but I was disappointed when I saw my friend’s options.

If every non-vegan place cooked like this! - Edit
Without a doubt one of the biggest surprises in a very, very long time. RIVA is a restaurant on a boat, parked on the bank of Danube river and while their menu offering pizza and flatbread is not large overall, they still offer 3 vegan dishes (1x pizza, 2x flatbreads). Simple enough concept, and seemingly nothing to lift you off the chair, until you actually try the food! 😁
Read moreWe tasted their Chili Sin Carne flatbread, and their vegan pizza. Flatbread was beautifully baked and had a nice crunch, and the (clearly) inhouse made chili had fantastic flavor, topped with fresh coriander. And the pizza, well, after a long thought I have to say it is THE best vegan pizza we have tried so far. I can still remember the taste about a week after we tried it and I caught myself thinking about ordering it again twice in that short time span.
Certainly an unexpected, pleasant surprise that clearly goes to show that you do not always need a vegan restaurant to satisfy your all your cravings. Sometimes all you need is for people to actually care about the food they serve and care about making the food as tasty as possible, whether it's vegan or not. If every non-vegan place cooked like this, it will be a much nicer world to live in.
Definitely give this place a try! It may not look like much at the first glance, but I can assure you that your taste buds will thank me later 😊
