Nice food

They have several options and the food is very tasty!!! You can ask the staff and they will help you with the vegan options they can sort for you. Plus the coffee is very good

Good vegetarian option

Not too many vegetarian options, vegan even less, but pretty tasty and served nicely.
Gazpacho was spicy enough and risotto cooked well. Next time I'm going to try pastas.
Delicious lemonade!

Pros: Service , Taste

Cons: Not many options

Potentially ok but many problems

We were initially very excited by the amazing play area for our kids (which they had a blast on), but that was later soured by the play area attendant lady who put her hands on our child. The food was typical for our experiences in Uzbekistan which is that veganism is still not fully understood so you have to be very clear about every thing you order. Very happening place at night though for kids and adults who want to drink and relax a bit…just unfortunate that the lady was rough with our kiddos.

Pros: Upscale

Cons: Rough child play area worker

Bella Italia - a truly Uzbek experience

This place seems like a big hit in town - with an ecletic mix of Uzbek and European decor, a fully equipped stage, screens showing the latest Gucci catwalk and large speakers blasting passionate Russian pop songs.

Almost every table was occupied by local families and groups of friends. Despite the large menu - spanning pasta, pizza, sushi(!) and Uzbek specialities - the vegan options are rather limited. We had a pasta dish with vegetables and ordered a side dish of peas for some much-needed protein. All very tasty!

Worth a try if you’re in Bukhara and want to experience a restaurant that the locals enjoy.

Worst experience ever

No one really spoke English. I told the waiter no broth or milk in the soup and he nodded agreeably. Then i noticed the skin that forms on dairy as he brought my lentil soup and noticed something was off about the flavor. There was cream in it after all. The pizza that i ordered without cheese was served to me with cheese. I got frustrated sending everything back to the kitchen so i paid for my bruschetta and left feeling upset and violated that i put a spoonful of a non-food item in my body.

Nice, clean. Ok food

There’s not a ton of options and the ones there are are just about ok. A huge plus though is that they offer smoothies! The second biggest plus is the nice upscale atmosphere without unreasonable prices.

Nice surprise

Very friendly stuff and good choice of vegan dishes ( a bit more for vegetarians ). After a week of Uzbek food (for vegans there is not much choice, so you will enjoy the difference). There is even draft beer available!
I recommend this place

Pros: Vegan options, Friendly stuff who speaks a bit of English

Cons: None

Puzza in Bukhara

When you had enough of uzbek food, it's a good choice going there. Pizzas are homemade, although i don't know if they can be vegan if you order without cheese.
They have also veg pasta choices

Ok

They had some vegan options. We ordered two kinds of bruchetta which were nice. Could also order pizza without cheese. It was ok.

Tasty & comfortable, but only basic and small portions

An Italian restaurant might not seem like a first choice in Uzbekistan, but this place felt like an oasis of western standards in Central Asia - while prices were still acceptable.
They had an English menu, and the staff was also English-speaking and very engaged. We ate vegetable shashlik and a (rather thin) cheese-less pizza on the comfortable terrace, which featured cooling water spray. Shishas are available outside, and inside is a karaoke bar and a shop.

Pros: Engaged waiters, Comfortable terrace

Cons: Small range of vegan dishes, Small portions
