Banging kebabs and hotdogs. - Edit
The kebab is a must try for all and the hotdogs are amazing also. Loads of great sides as well, including chilli cheese fries which are delightful.

Loved this pub, good energy and people. We got the kraut hot dog and our friend got the seitan one. Love the tofu sausages so much.

Fine hot dogs - Edit
Lively pub with an alt feel, good range of beers. We opted for a couple of dogs (dirty dog and chili dog) and an order of loaded fries. Food was good, arrived promptly. Staff were fine. Has ice cream to follow- a mix of biscoff and peanut butter salted caramel which was a bit of a disappointment as it didn’t taste of much and was pricey.

Great atmosphere and music. We got buffalo wings, loaded fries and the doner kebabs, all of it was excellent. Service was super fast and we honestly could not fault it.

Good vibes, but flavours overpowered by spice - Edit
We were really excited to try this place as it’s always great to see more vegan options in Brighton. The menu was great and portions were generous, but unfortunately our food (hot dog and kebab) came covered in a strong chilli sauce. For us it was a bit overpowering and took away from the other flavours so we could not taste the food. If you love spicy food, you may really enjoy it, but if not, it’s worth asking for the food without it or checking with staff when you order as the heat level isn’t made clear on the menu.

Nice food, loud atmosphere - Edit
I had battered gherkins, which were SO yummy with the mustard mayo! Also had the Beelzebab doner kebab pitta. A large pitta, with loads of kebab meat in, however it was labelled as coming with veggies inside but came with just a small amount of lettuce, tomato, and red cabbage. There was no cabbage or spicy sauce till I got right to the bottom of the pitta, and it was a bit much without the meat so didn't finish it. A bit disappointed, but it was tasty meat.
Read moreI like a pub, but this wasn't really the venue for me, cool interior but quite loud screamo music which is not very relaxing for a lunch time. Nice friendly staff. Sorry to have to say a few negative things.
Pros: The battered gherkins!, Tasty doner meat
Cons: Loud music

Good food but a bit pricey for what you get - Edit
Had the norm hot dog with onion rings (5 onion rings for 3£ extra, ouch) and the battered gherkins.

Something for everyone - Edit
Cool bar with lots of vegan options for sausages, chicken wings, gyro, and kebab. We tried the kebab and the gyro—both were decent in size, fairly priced, and tasted alright. That said, as with much of British cuisine, the flavors were a bit too mild for my liking.
Read moreThe bar itself has a great vibe, with cool music, a DJ in the evenings, good beer, and friendly staff. There’s plenty of seating, at least early on. We arrived around 6 PM and easily found a table, but by 7 it was nearly packed—so plan accordingly.
If you’re into kebab or gyro, it’s definitely worth a visit.

Slaps - Edit
Found inside the Hope & Ruin pub (which is a great little spot for a pint) with a strong menu. Kebabs, hot dogs and loaded fries on offer along with small “pub grub” type plates. I went for the Currywurst and was left very satisfied

Wings are especially delish, quality can be slightly hit and miss, always tasty but sometimes it's perfect and crispy and sometimes it can be a little soggy/oily. Still love this place though
