Very good vegan breakfast - Edit
I came here for breakfast and was impressed with the vegan selection of plates , including quite a few cakes. My boyfriend had the veggie breakfast and I had the vegan one. It was very tasty and feeling although at almost £15 , quite expensive . But there aren’t many choices for vegans in Nottingham and this cafe ticked all the boxes for a hearty Sunday brunch.

Offensive - Edit
Following an honest review of my experience, the owner made up that I was the problem for questioning their punitive charge for non-dairy milk. I was in no way aggressive as they implied. I'm not that person. I'm just sick to the back teeth of being treated differently as a vegan. I recommend that places offering vegan food also think about not charging extra for non dairy milk. It's just ridiculous.

Great service, good food. - Edit
A couple good-looking vegan options. They were rather busy but the staff were very smiley and efficient. Food was scrummy, and my friend regrets the "go large" option on the pancakes!
Read moreNon-dairy milk costs extra. Soya should be a free replacement and then charge for others, if needed. That's my only negative.

Weird wheelchair access - Edit
Nice vegan food, sure, but the cafe is on 2 levels so if you're a wheelchair user and need to use the bathroom you have to ask the staff to open another door, leave the cafe and re-enter through this other door. Once you're done you have to leave back through this door and re-enter again to go back to your table. There isn't a lot of dignity in that, ngl.

Amazing brunch - Edit
I had a vegan full English breakfast here and it was really tasty! They also do vegan hot chocolates and other hot drinks. I had my baby shower at the Beeston branch and they catered perfectly to vegans offering delicious vegan sandwiches and cake. I would say it’s a bit on the pricey side but the quality of the food if worth it.

Amazing food - Edit
I go to pudding pantry regularly and I love their home made beans. I’ve tried the one in the city and beeston and the one in the city taste better IMO.

Willing to give it a second chance! - Edit
We went for brunch, of which there are 2 vegan brunch options. Went for the avocado on sourdough but sadly the sourdough was burnt which spoilt the taste of the whole dish really.

Bit disappointing - Edit
Went only once, nearly 2 years ago and had pancakes which were very overpriced and tasted mostly of baking powder. I believe they don’t have many vegan options atm, but might give it another chance, as the place has a very nice, relaxed vibe.

Limited vegan options, but tasty! - Edit
There was only one vegan cake available (I had to ask, as it was not on the printed menu) when I visited, but it was an orange cake, and it was very tasty. Service was good, and they offered a variety of plant milks (soy, almond or oat) for drinks - at additional cost.
Read moreI would not have know this place had vegan options if it wasn't for Happycow (I only knew to ask about vegan cake options after seeing some of the reviews). I also found the printed dessert menu a little confusing, as some of the options had a "V" label, which I initially took to mean vegan, but this it seemed to denote vegetarian (I guess the other options contained gelatine? Or other non-vegetarian ingredients?) as the server told me they only had one vegan cake...
Pros: tasty vegan cake
Cons: only one vegan dessert/cake option when I visited

Good vegan selection - Edit
They have 3 vegan savoury options, which on the day we visited were soup, sandwich and bruschetta. Several vegan cakes available, plus soya milk for lattes etc. Vegan smoothies too. Menu is well labelled and staff understand what's vegan and what can be adapted. Sitting outside is very pleasant.
