Great Vegan Dinner - Edit
This place is a great find for vegans looking for a nice meal in Venice. The staff was super friendly and helpful - mindful of allergies and vegan diets. The chef was able to make us a special vegan dish with pistachio pesto. So yummy!

Good 🍝 - Edit
They didn't have anything vegan on the menu. I asked if they had anything. They called the owner Marco who sat down with me and offered me what he could do for me. I got spaghetti with vegetables. It was very good but quite expensive (for spaghetti and vegetables). My boyfriend had something else from the menu (he is not vegan) and got a very small portion, so he was still hungry.

I wish I could give 100 stars - Edit
Please come here. The owner, Marco provided the kindest experience I’ve ever had in Venice. I’m vegan and have anaphylactic allergies to dairy, eggs. And nuts. So he sat down with me and picked apart what I can eat on the menu and even made me a special grilled sesame veggies dish I could not rave enough about. We talked with him about so much and everyone at this establishment is soooo kind. Ordered: pasta pomodoro, wine, sesame grilled veggies, olive dish

Tasty pasta and friendly service. - Edit
Only a couple options on the menu but they were tasty! I ordered the caponata and the pasta alla nonna. The caponata was served cold with some bread - I would usually prefer a warm caponata but the flavours were yum. The bread was also very crispy (almost crumbly rather than soft which I would have preferred). The pasta tasted yum - the eggplant was tasty, and the basil sauce had an oil base (no dairy) and was okay but didn’t add heaps of flavour to the dish.

I’d definitely recommend coming if you’re after a tasty Sicilian pasta dish!
Pros: Friendly service., Al denté pasta with flavoursome sauce.
Cons: Caponata was served cold (I personally prefer hot)

Lovely staff, delicious pasta - Edit
As I’m sure most vegans travelling Italy know, it can get tiring eating the same dishes over and over again. Although the selection of vegan options wasn’t huge, they were helpful and the food was exceptional. Having Sicilian style dishes in northern Italy was also nice to change things up a bit. Highly recommend the Caponata and Pasta alla Norma!

Few but super tasty options - Edit
The owner was super kind and sat with us to discuss the vegan options. We had chickpea flour sticks, breaded eggplant and caponata for starters and pasta alla norma and pasta with pistachio pesto (both made vegan on request, and both were amazing).

Good food, lack of options - Edit
A small restaurant in a quieter part of Venice with really delicious Sicilian cuisine but lacking vegan options. Waitstaff were great, understanding veganism, but there is only 1 entrée and 1 one main to pick from. Both are delicious though.

Excellent service - Edit
The owner greeted us and explained the vegan options. He made us feel very welcome and is clearly proud of his family restaurant cooking family recipes from his home in Sicily. We had two starters - can’t remember the actual names but fried Aubergine, and chickpea flour fried slices - when I asked for something to dip them into I was presented with lemon and pepper for the Chickpea sticks, and a pomodoro sauce for the aubergine. Bellissimo. For mains they made me a simple but super tasty spaghetti with garlic - the flavours we’re outstanding. I cannot recommend highly enough. The staff are excellent, the atmosphere welcoming, and the food authentic and delicious. What more do you need. Great value for money too - we had two starters / two glasses of wine / two mains for €50

No veg*n main - Edit
Food was quite tasty. They make the pasta alla norma vegan on request, but they don't even have a vegetarian main course on the menu. Very friendly and helpfull staff though. Still, would have prefered to go somewhere with more options.

Great find! - Edit
Venetian cuisine tends to specialise in meat and fish so it was really nice to find this place — Sicilian food naturally had a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. I had the potato and mint croquettes (Vegan) and pasta alla Norma (vegetarian — has cheese). Absolutely delicious, great service, good wine and a canolo and coffe to finish off.
