The (i guess) owner is super nice ! The food is served with a lot of french fries (i did not expected that) and it's typical food from Madrid so it's really "fat". It's not a question about quality of the food, which I've found great, but just about taste: i cannot handle greasy food that much. The atmosphere of the restaurant is however super nice. I'd recommend to go there for a quick meal to share maybe and enjoy drinks there in this nice atmosphere.

Read moreEn pleno centro, con comida de tapeo, bocatas, buenos precios y un ambiente marcadamente político y reivindicativo.
Centro de referencia del movimiento anarquista, recomiendo especialmente el bocadillo de seitán casero, cualquier plato combinado, la hamburguesa de la casa o el no pollo al ajillo.
El trato es siempre increíble, aunque dadas sus dimensiones es fácil que toque esperar cola en una calle emblemática del centro de Madrid.
Desde hace unos meses aceptan el pago con tarjeta de crédito, además del propio efectivo.
En fin, un must para cualquier vegano.

I’ve been here a few times now and I love this restaurant. I have to say that I love this type of food, but I’ve been here with non vegan and vegetarian friends and they were all quite pleased. Also the prices are affordable which makes it way better.

Edit 2024: B13 has continued to change and adapt. Their menu is still amazing, prices are still affordable, and they have grown a lot. Expect to wait for a table, and for food. Totally worth it! Try their calamares (squid rings) and onion rings, both amazing!
Read moreI came here with a non-veg friend and we both were extremely satisfied with our meals, and comfortably stuffed. The staff is very friendly, and though the decor is not the best, the atmosphere is very relaxed, and the place is full of locals. Since there were a lot of people, service was not speedy, but it was worth the wait. Don't come here expecting a delicious fancy meal. It's perfect when you just don't want to cook or pay very much for a meal out. We had a huge burger, a huge side of fries and a beer for 5 euro, which is an excellent price for Madrid. I will definitely go back and try all their menu! I wouldn't get so turned off by the location. Yes, there are sex workers, but it's not a sketchy street at all, and the neighborhood is quite nice.

Ya tengo nuevo favorito en Madrid. Comí el plato combinado de escalope con patatas fritas y ensalada. Me gustó tanto que, aunque estaba llena, quise probar las croquetas y los calamares. Meeting like minded people - Edit
We tried this place with another vegan couple and it was one of the nicest nights out we have had in a while. Apart from having great conversations with like-minded people, we shared the pleasure of treating ourselves to great Spanish junk food. We had a marvellous night thanks to the ambiance and the amazing food. This place is packed and you either come before they open or wait for an hour because it's that good! If you are in Madrid, make sure to check this place out :-)

I had burger de la casa (of the house). It does not come with ketchup or any sauce. There are ketchup and mustard bottles available. I tried and did not need it at all. I finished it without any sauce. Where the hell else can you swallow a burger without sauce??😄Chips does not look very well, but tasted like housemade, maybe they are. I forgot to ask.
So, don't be guide by the image and try it all.
For dessert, I had tiramisú. Honestly, one of the best I have ever had.
I can't wait to try more deliciousness!
