I ate here twice during my stay in Madrid. The menu is a little confusing but the waitress helped me figure out what was what. The first time I came, I had a "hippie salad", the second time I had the dish called "the pilgrim". Both were tasty! The smoothie was great too.

The restaurant is close to Gran Via and has a great location. The waiter was really nice and asking about allergies as a standard. The food was really delicious. I had a garden salmon tartar and an Apple strudel. I got to try a minismoothie on the house and it was delicious.

Okay, I'll start with the positives:

However, the food and drinks were desperately overpriced. We had two starters and soup. One of the starters was tasty enough, the other consisted of some rubbery tofu on lettuce.
The soup was bland, the tea was alright and then they tried to charge me €15,55 for a glass of orange juice that first came with a hair attached to it and then with a fly swimming in it. Not impressed. I wish I'd gone somewhere else.

La carta es muy extensa y bastante confusa, hay mucha información y cuesta muchísimo elegir. Al final optamos por una burguers y las encontramos muy cargadas de salsas. Incluso las patatas de acompañamiento llevaban un poco por encima.

Ni que decir de la atención, fueron super majos y amables, hasta nos invitaron a probar una bebida a modo chupito de entrante.

My wife and i ate here twice and hope to visit again before we leave Madrid. On our first visit, she got one of the burgers and i got a salad. We split a carrot cake. On our second trip we just got ice cream after a long day of walking. They had about 10 different flavors. We got a scoop each and both were great.

We arrived a bit early for lunch, so we had the place to ourselves. The host was helpful and gracious, which made our poor Spanish a non-issue. The service is a bit slow, but that is not a complaint. The result is food that is prepared and presented with care. If we lived in Madrid, this would be one of our regular haunts.

Tucked away in the back streets behind Gran Vía. Really friendly staff, lovely food, very detailed menu (including gluten free options) nice atmosphere. The burgers are epic.
