New Location

They have moved from their old place to a new location just near the Saturday market. The new place is in a less busy area than their former one in the heart of Thapae Gate, I hope they get just as much as business. This is one of the oldest veggie restaurants in Chiang Mai! They have been serving up excellent food for years and have never compromised. The new place is nicer than the old one and the menu remains the same. I like it they have a large mix of Thai and western foods and they have a lot of side dishes such as steamed tofu or steamed pumpkin etc. So if you want you can get a meal without oil or fat. Great smoothies and nice vegan sushi too! I have noticed that their menu now clearly marks wish dishes are vegan, which they didn't before. Much appreciate that. Great place. Good prices. Good vibes.

Pros: Healthy options available - something for everyone, Huge menu, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Not 100% vegan

Great place

2026: Had a late lunch of Fresh spring rolls, tea leaf salad, mango and mint lassi- excellent (sugarcane with lemon soda & brownie- they were ok). No bamboo straws anymore.

2023: We sat upstairs in the floor seating/cushioned area which was nice. We ordered a tea leaf salad, curry & rice & thai teas (including green thai tea). It was all delicious. Took a while for the drinks to come but worth the wait. Drinks came with bamboo straws #Veganuary

Fresh and tasty

Food here is simple but fresh and wholesome. The menu is extensive, with all the Thai favourites and even sushi. It’s great value and portion sizes are huge. Great vibes and staff.

Especially recommend Miang Khan!

Lovely place set a bit outside of everyday rush. Friendly staff, range of different dishes, but remember to try their signature salad miang khan!

Not our fave, bland

Unfortunately we were quite disappointed. The food is quite bland, we needed some soy sauce to make it tasty enough. The smoothies were good though.

We ordered:
- smoothie 5 (avocado banana coconut)
- smoothie 3 (pineapple)
- cashew stir fry
- california roll
- fried tofu with tomato onion and mushroom

The vibes upstairs were very nice though

Very nice simple healthy food.

The owners takes a lot of pride to produce healthy vegan and vegetarian food and it is reflected in the taste and quality. Really did feel healthy, so if this is what you're looking for, come and find this restaurant.
It's tucked away in a back street so use Google maps.

Pros: Healthy, Clean food, Passion to produce vegan and vegetarian food

Cons: I'm a side Street, so not the easiest to find.

Various options

Lovely relaxing vibe!! Heads up it’s floor seating. I had the crispy fried potatoes with blue rice and some dumplings to share. The plate at the back is vegetarian - omelette and brown rice. It was great to feel overwhelmed with so many options. Taste wise - loved the dumplings and fried potatoes especially when you dip them in the sauce given. Blue sticky rice didn’t have much taste but is nice when mixed with something else!

Pros: Options , Good portion size

Tiny portions. Does not justify the price.

Diverse and very attractive menu with lot is variety but light on flavours.

Pros: Variety of options, Breadth of menu, Innovative menu

Cons: Overprice, Tiny portions, Sleepy service especially for the price

Sorry to disagree, we've just finished our meal and are feeling stuffed!! It's our first day in Thailand, we will see what other restaurants are like, portion size and cost.... we might eventually agree. 😀

Delicious and great vibes

Got a few dishes, a Khao sui, a fried tofu and mushroom dish and a smoothie. All were delicious. It’s a floor seating vibe and lots of pro vegan little signals. Upstairs is beautiful and peaceful.

More expensive than Thai fare around but still very reasonable

Pros: Cosy vibe, Delicious food

Cons: Not fully vegan

The only thing I wasn't happy with was the tea.
I ordered ginger tea with honey. The was good, but it was served in a rather small cup. I like places that have an option to get a whole tea in a tea pot. I can easily enjoy 5 cops of any tea. I don't want to have to ask the waiter for each cup, and also at the price of 70 bat for a small cup, my 5 cups of tea will end up being very expensive.

So I guess I will not be buying tea there. Everything else was perfect.

Recommended

Tasty, freshly prepared to order food and with some dishes I don't see often on the Thai menu's. Such as silken tofu in tomato sauce.

The vegan Khao Soi was mere a side dish or entree, with it being a very small portion. The salads however are huge. So together, it made a meal.

Nice venue also. "Gezellig", as we Dutchies would say. It translates as something like "cosy", but that doesn't do the Dutch word proud.

Okay

Nice place and vibe, but definitely caters more to westerners which means the flavors are less intense than in other places. Also the vegan khao soi looked like a poorer cousin of the vegetarian one even though they cost the same.

Home style vegan delight

Located at the end of a small quiet lane in one of the less popular touristy areas of town, this place serves amazing home style simple yet tasty and flavorful vegan and vegetarian dishes.
The have some unique dishes like the “Numprikaong” and “miengkham” that are usually not served in other Thai restaurants around town. All dishes we ordered were great in taste and not spicy. They have a mind blowing vegan brownie and vegan ice creams.
The staff are very friendly and courteous. The second floor has a huge open hall with seating on cushions on the floor at low tables. Amazing sunset views from the big open balcony window

Pros: Simple home style food

Hidden in a small street in somebody’s house but once you know where to go it’s super easy. Great vegan Khao Soi, lovely chilled vibe, also good for solo travellers

Super good 👌

I think this might be my favorite restaurant in Chiang Mai and the reason is because the food is very flavorful (without MSG), not oily and good portion. I had a beautiful massaman curry with brown rice for 120 Bhat and a papaya salad for 70 Bhat. Sadly I tried this restaurant on my last day in Chiang Mai so I couldn't go back to try other things.
Also the location is good because it's in a quiet street and upstairs you can sit on the ground 👌
