It’s a bit hidden from the big roads. Nice and quiet, cozy. Khao soi was ok stir fry kale broccoli and thai coconut mylk tea were yum.

Many vegan options and can accommodate for gluten allergy, but isn’t very tasty sadly. Smoothies weren’t cold, pad thai was very watery, burger had no taste, sushi wasn’t bad, but rice was overcooked, steamed tempeh was ok.

We tried 3 different plates and they were all super good, especially the vegan burger! The place has an upstairs room very cozy and nicely decorated. Be back soon!

Great vegan/vegetarian option in CM - Edit
We spent 3 weeks in CM and went to Aum almost every day. Their menu is 100% vegetarian, I believe most dishes are even vegan. And almost everything in their menu costs only 80 thb.

In general, people thought the flavor was good, but light/not strong enough. There were various notes that the broth had too much coconut milk or was too sweet, and that it lacked spice and “curry flavor.” Many noted that the flavor was better when additional chili was added. There was a general consensus that the noodles and other fillings (potatoes, mushrooms) were good, though almost everyone noted disappointment that there were no crispy noodles on top. There were also several notes complimenting the restaurant environment, saying it had a “nice,” “comfortable” upstairs area with a “cool atmosphere” and “great vibes.”

Delicious home made food in lovely relaxing family atmosphere - Edit
This lovely long-established and well loved restaurant is set quietly up a back street, in a large traditional Thai house, on the edge of the Chiang Mai's old city. It is like entering someone's home - welcoming, comfortable. All the food I had was freshly made and delicious. Dishes were served as they were cooked.

Veggies and vegans are spoilt for choice in Chiang Mai but this place is a must! I tried the fresh spring rolls, avocado maki and a tofu curry and every bite was full of flavour. The staff were very attentive and organised. Prices are reasonable and the seating area is spacious and pleasant. You won't be disappointed, give it a go!
