Best hidden gem - Edit
We randomly walked past this place on the way to the night market and I had to do a double take when I saw the vegan sign. Coconut ice cream is my favourite flavour so I am very picky and wow!! It lived up to expectations and was worth the price. We had the coconut and sea salt ice cream in a sandwich, as I couldn’t remember the last time I had an ice cream sandwich

I walked past here whilst munching on some Kanom Krok the other night then returned the following evening for something sweet after dinner.
Read moreAs an aside, I'm pretty sure that Kanom Krok are vegan, as the ingredients are coconut milk, water, salt, rice flour and spring onion (as far as I'm aware!). Also had them with coconut, taro, corn and sweet potato, but the spring onion ones are my favourite by a mile!
Any how, I went for the coconut milk ice cream cookie sandwich. The cookies were nice and crisp: more oaty biscuits, than cookies, but nice. The ice cream had a good flavour, but was a little lacking on the texture front.
In summary, when I have the option of the Kanom Krok cart round the corner; the cart is always going to be where I go.

Fun mango coconut ice cream - Edit
Got the mango ice cream which was a creative cup of mango, sticky rice, and coconut ice cream. Was fun to try! Not sure I was a fan of the combination of ice cream and rice but that’s just a personal preference. They also had vegan cookie sandwiches which looked tasty.

Had a really delicious Coco Mango ice cream pot, it had mango ice cream, coconut ice cream, mango, sticky rice and some biscuit. Delicious. Glad to find little independent places like this that are 100% vegan! Very impressed.

For us, this was the great discovery of Chiang Mai. It is an ice cream shop that offers several vegan products, but we opted for their star product. It is a dessert made with 3 scoops of coconut milk ice cream, mango ice cream and coconut milk ice cream with sea salt, accompanied by mango sticky rice and coconut biscuit. If you pass through Chiang Mai, don't hesitate to taste it.

Salted with enough to send your taste buds surfing, the ice cream is fluffy with a sharpe and striking combination of flavours that are complimented sweetly by the cookie bun. Honestly, may I present to you your new tastebuds tag team champions….
