Gorgeous afternoon tea! - Edit
The afternoon tea was designed to reflect the In Bloom exhibit which had run recently, and all the floral details across the plates and even in the food were beautiful.

Overall, this was a lovely experience and reasonably priced. The food was fresh, flavourful and presented beautifully.
Read moreThis would have been a 5 star experience if we had been given a proper vegan clotted cream alternative for the scones (what we got tasted like whipped cream out of a can), and if at least one of the sandwiches had a little bit more substance to it with perhaps a vegan protein alternative (mock chicken, tofu, seifan etc).

I was visiting from the US and am not really a tea drinker, but I was in England after all, so I wanted to try the vegan high tea! It was a nice experience but once in my life was enough. Still, I recommend it.

Had the gnocchi, it was okay. Quite a small portion, and it feels a bit cheeky to charge 12.50 for a small portion of gnocchi and spinach. Not a bad meal, but I can’t rate it more than 2 as it basically just has an okay option for vegans, that’s a bit small and overpriced. Also generally quite a loud restaurant. Could definitely do with some sound foam on the walls.

I ordered the soup of the day and the spinach gnocchi. Both were very tasty although the gnocchi portion was quite small and didn’t fill me up. The soup came with a piece of bread and butter. I asked and they were able to bring me margarine but as the soup was listed a vegan, they should have been more careful.

Had an a-fricking-mazingly good afternoon tea here. Great selection, everything fresh, much flavour and the pastries.... So moist and fluffy! Had coffee and tea with it, both good. Price was regular, good value i would say. Service somewhat hurried but otherwise fine.

Had the afternoon tea, arranged by a friend. Ordered it to be gluten free. There was a problem in the kitchen so I didn't get as much as I should. They are refunding my friend. What was there was okay, but not amazing. Wouldn't go again.

We treated ourselves to afternoon tea on the rooftop. Gorgeous setting and views. Afternoon tea was delicious, especially the savoury selection. Scones were still warm from the oven. Decaf fruit tea available. Staff were lovely and separate vegan menu brilliant. Lots of vegan options on lunch menu too.
