Huge portion, nice flavours - Edit
I was worried there wouldn’t really be any options for me and being in the arctic circle in the middle of winter, you really don’t want to be wandering around searching for lunch! I was really relieved to find this place. They clearly know what vegan means as they informed me when I ordered veggie spring rolls that they’re not actually vegan. They had a good range of options. I had the pad Thai and it was a generous serving and really tasty! Prices were pretty good considering it’s Sweden.

Bad experience - Edit
I ordered the vegan burger. I could not finish it because the patty was absolutely horrible. From the look and taste I would say it's like frozen vegetables mixed into mashed potatoes, formed into a patty and deep fried. Bad taste, bad texture, bad look.
Read moreAlso, according to the menu, the burger is supposed to come with onion rings. I did not get onion rings and tried to ask about it. The staff barely spoke English so communication was difficult, but what I understood was the onion rings are not actually vegan. Why they are listed as part of a vegan burger dish, I don't know.
2 stars instead of 1 because at least it seems the staff knew what was vegan or not and only served the vegan stuff to me.

I ate there twice because the food is tasty, cheap and the portions are big. First I had the Pad Thai with Tofu instead of Eggs and on the second day I ordered the vegan burger which comes with fries. Both meals were delicious.

Perhaps the best vegan food in Kiruna - Edit
We ate here three times in two days. Friendly people, very reasonably priced, good food, good portions. We could be 99% sure that what we were eating was vegan. As stated in other reviews - simple, tasty ingredients and tofu can be added to almost everything. Other restaurant choices listed in Happy Cow were closed, too far to walk in the cold, or had very few vegan options (e.g., Camp Ripan).

Lots of tofu options! - Edit
They offer tofu as a substitute for any dish, and plenty of dishes have no need for eggs, milk or meat. There’s curry, pad Thai, rice and noodle dishes, spring rolls, and soups. I got the pad Thai first, and it tastes great! Massive portion and I loved that they asked me what level of spice I wanted (none personally), and it didn’t come out too salty or lacking in anything.

The only restaurant I found open at lunch. Was nice. Ate a lot and didn't have dinner. Good vegan and vegetarian options. You can choose between Thai food or Grill food (like a Vegan hamburger).

Tasty Thai food - Edit
This was a welcoming place to eat Asian food. There is also the possibility to use the plain buffet but I am not a big fan of buffets. I wanted the medium spicy red curry with rice and asked them if they could make it vegan. This was no problem, they used tofu for it. I've read the advices here and did not use take away dinner and ate at the outside terras.

Wonderful vegan curries available, too. Had noodles with spicy tofu curry (nr. 22) requested it without fish sauce. Extremely vegan-veg-friendly restaurant. Nice staff and the bathroom is super spacious and clean, too. Absolutely loved it here!

I've been here two times. It's a basic Thai place that also has some grill stuff. They know what vegan is and can make any thai dish vegan - just ask them. They remove the non-vegan things and add tofu. It's pretty cheap.
