Chay buffet - Edit

Lots of choice from the starter to the dessert.
The food was nice and the staff too. I missed the tapioca banana dessert because everybody wanted it. One of the waitress served me one bowl juste for me and it was delicious. They ask me to come back and if one day I go back to Hanoi I will go there again. Regarding all the food we ate 99000 Dong is very cheap. And of course it's buddhist food so all vegan ! :)

Good - Edit

Buffet with 50 dishes for 99.000 vnd. Went yesterday and it was really good with Pho, Hue style rice noodles, salads, etc all the side dishes and desserts were good. 2nd floor guests have to went downstairs for food so you'd better go there at around 6pm to make sure you get a good seat.

Pros: Really nice staff, Good food, Reasonable price for buffet

Cons: A little bit crowded

Great buffet - Edit

I'm still not sure wether this is a 100% vegan place, but I did not see any non-vegan dishes. We went for dinner one evening and we enjoyed the very large and very fresh buffet a lot. The pho is good, the fresh springrolls are excellent... I read in another review that the food was bland but everything I tried was definitely very tasty. Staff was very friendly. Worth a visit.

Pros: very large buffet, food is fresh and tasty, not expensive

Vegan paradise! - Edit

On my recent trip to Northern Vietnam I discovered vegan paradise in Hanoi of all places! My eyes could hardly believe it, such a huge array of dishes were on offer.
All sorts of tasty mock meats and vegetable treats were there as well as a Pho station and a dessert section. The mock meat was very convincing, especially in the Pho.

This place is an absolute bargain at 99,000 for an eat-as-much-as-you-like buffet. I sure got my money's worth by having 3 platefuls, a bowl of pho and two servings of Che (a vietnamese dessert).

When we first arrived this place was packed with big groups of young and old of all nationalities, which speaks volumes for how good it is.

Whether or not you're vegan you should try this place out next time you're in Hanoi. With no animal products whatsoever the chances of getting sick from this buffet are drastically reduced. Cheap, healthy, compassionate and safe, surely a 'Nguyen-Nguyen' (win-win) situation! ;)

If only this place had been in Hanoi the 4 previous times I visited. The HappyCow Vegan Guide app comes up trumps again!

Pros: Huge selection of food, Very tasty, Amazing value (all you can eat for just 99,000vnd)

Ok - Edit

Went here because of the good ratings but wouldn't go back. 100000 per person for an all-you-can-eat buffet. Sounds cheap for a buffet but the food wasn't all that good so we didn't have seconds. The pho is great though. Drinks are not included not even the tea.The restaurant must have been a dance club before. It's not all that nice; dark and comfortless.

Cons: No English

would not eat here... - Edit

I actually did not eat here and thank God....
It was closed between lunch and dinner time, but I did go into the restaurant.
It was dark, dirty, and smelly.

No one there spoke English so I could not communicate well, but understood that if I wait for one hour, I can eat.

I was so hungry and tired but no way I would eat there.
Highly questionable of their cleanliness.

Cons: dirty, smelly, no English

Love this place! - Edit

This is a nice buffet where almost all the dishes are vegan, with some exceptions. I really love their spring rolls and noodle soup ❤️ If you go for lunch, I suggest that you arrive earlier (ideally before 1pm),otherwise the selections will be limited.

Come hungry! - Edit

This place offers a huge variety of Chinese-style buffet dishes. We weren't that hungry, so they let us have a small plate for 50,000 - actually, the plate was too big for me! The food was all good, except some of it was a little chewy or jelly for me.

the best in Hanoi - Edit

This restaurant is mind blowing! The buffet is huge and inexpensive (1000.000 dong). From noodle soups to "fish" and interesting deserts. They have it all. The "spring rolls" were amazing and they have so much "meat" substitutes that sometimes I had to check is they were really vegan food. Lovely place! If you are in Hanoi, this restaurant is a must. Cone when you are hungry and you won't regret.

Pros: the food, the staff, the asian style decoration

Cons: it's located inside a building called capital towe, a little difficult to find.

Very good lunch buffé! - Edit

This vegan lunch buffé was really good. Sometimes the taste and texture of some
food was a bit similar to meat so I had to ask three times if the buffé really was vegan. A lot of nice different spring rolls, soup, noodles, rice and veggies. Well worth the price of 99'000 dond. Staff was friendly and atmosphere really nice. A bit hidden inside a bigger shopping complex but u also see the signs from the street.

Pros: a lot of different food, something for everyone

Cons: none

Decent feed - Edit

After 12 hours on an overnight train, it was great that I could get off at the station and walk here in less than five minutes. I was greeted by very polite staff and my suitcase was stored for me. I bought a ticket for VND99.000, which I initially thought was expensive, but then realised it was all-you-can-eat, so I did. There is a wide and interesting array of attractive dishes on offer in the semi-formal dining room, but some are not so fresh (from sitting) and some not so tasty. Some of it is very good and I had my fill. I also ordered a mango smoothie at an additional cost of VND40K. I brought a companion on another occasion and enjoyed the pho that is made on the spot, as well as dessert. I would come back here for the setting, the gracious staff and the unlimited portion size.

Pros: All you can eat

Cons: Food not always fresh

New An Lac - Edit

Dined here last evening 12th April. They had a promotion of 70,000d ($3)per head. It's buffet help yourself style. So many choices of salads and hot dishes. Had a desserts counter and a counter where a girl makes you a Pho (noodle dish). I chatted with owner hoping they do go ala carte later. He now know about Happy Cow and proudly showed me the sticker on his glass door. Highly recommend for all to try. Support vegan places.

Pros: excellent selection of dishes, plenty of waiting staff, wide selection of veggies

Cons: no a la carte
