Healthy, yummy food - Edit
You need to go down the alley and up the stairs to get to the restaurant. The food was good. I had the curry and cinnamon rose drink. They even have a cute car hanging around.

Didn't love it - Edit
The vibe of this place was a bit off and the service wasn't great. The food was pretty disappointing especially for the price. There's better options in Hanoi for vegans, I wouldn't come back here again.

Great cafe - Edit
Interesting atmosphere. You have to walk down a very tiny alley, climb some stairs and walk straight through the kitchen to get to the cafe. We had a plate with a variety of foods to share. The dips were really good but tasted more like Mediterranean food. The green monster smoothie was a bit warm unfortunately but tasty. Worth a visit.

Bad experience, some ok options - Edit
The menu is ambiguous and not clear about what is and isn't vegan. They claim to have a system that marks vegetarian dishes, with the rest being vegan. But I ordered an unmarked pizza therefore expecting vegan, and it came with cheese. They didn't offer to make me another simply picking off the cheese with chopsticks in front of me. The staff were then quite rude for the rest of the visit. The food tasted fine, but not worth the high price tag.

Great food; tricky to find - Edit
Google Maps can't navigate Vietnam's alleyways. I added a photo of the alleyway ( I was standing under the awning and couldnt see the sign). Once inside, the atmosphere was lovely and the menu was great. Delicious food! Wish I could come back for the yoga studio!

Gorgeous café with food to match - Edit
The interior is extremely cosy, it's enough to to lull you into a deep state of meditative sleep! I've spent hours at this café during my time living in Vietnam and can say that the food is some of the tastiest, well-balanced and freshest I've had.

Pizza for breakfast, yes please! - Edit
While the official breakfast menu may be limited, that did not stop me from coming everyday for tea and pesto pizza every morning during my stay in Hanoi! This place is tucked away in a alley and up some stairs to the back. Again don’t let that scare you away. The sitting and natural light is charming. The staff super friendly. And they take credit card, which is always a plus for me!

Pricey for Hanoi - Edit
This place is hidden away through a dark wet and dirty alley, up stairs, and through the kitchen. I wish they had better signage, because it was super easy to miss. I also saw a big rat run by in the alley.
Read moreThe menu is a mix of Vietnamese and foreign dishes with juices and smoothies. I order spring rolls that came with a pesto dipping sauce, a black bean burger, and a green smoothie. I really wanted to like this place, but probably won’t go back. The spring rolls were boring and mostly lettuce, the burger was fine, but needed sauce, and my smoothie was warm.
Pros: Peaceful atmosphere, Fast, Lots of Vegan options
Cons: Expensive , Hard to find

Lovely food at a cosy cafe - Edit
Absolutely love the food here. My top picks are falafel salad. pita bread with falafel and their salad. The portion is giant. Believe me, one dish of salad could fill you. The place is very cosy. Such a lovely place to do a yoga session, followed by a hearty lunch or dinner.

Delicious - Edit
A little bit pricier than other places (210k for two meals no drinks) but filling and a place with a nice vibe.
Read moreThe pad Thai was AMAZING and would have easily eaten another, the hummus pizza was ok but not great and overpriced.

So disappointed had ants in our food - Edit
Wanted to give one stars but happy cow says you have to give at least 2 just because it’s vegan. I had high hopes for this place as it had such good reviews, the place it self is really nice and beautiful but the food just wasn’t great (might just be what we picked) and expensive. Got the mushroom sandwich but the mushrooms were so slimy they just slid out of the sandwhich as soon as I tried to eat it so pretty much had a sandwich with no mushrooms and my partner got the pesto pasta and when they brought it out it ANTS crawling over it, I think the walnut topping they used had ants in it, how they didn’t see it I don’t know but it was gross!! They took it back and gave us a new one but it wasn’t very nice. All side salads also came with a weird leaf herb thing that is not nice at all to eat but is all through the salads. Very sad and would not come back again. Plus the ladies at the kitchen just kept starring at us through the window of the kitchen, it felt very rude and intimidating.

I love this place!! Its so couy you want to sit for hours. They offer yoga classes but you can only come for the cafe as well. Best european and oriental foods but also vietnamese food: salads, breakfast, pizza, falafel pita, humus, cake, smoothies, tea pots, etc😊👍🏻

Great experience - Edit
Reminded me of home in a way, very comforting and the staff are lovely. Food was delicious and there was an extensive range. I’ve found in Vietnam that western food is easy to come by, some on the form of a fusion, I guess this makes sense due to the colonisation and this place serves that well.

Great food, horrible service - Edit
Firstly the food was delicious!! So no complaints there. However the service was really bad. So unfriendly when we arrived - when we asked what the "dish of the day was" our waitress yelled to the lady in the kitchen who replied with a dish that was a salad and the first item on the menu which i think she just made up on the spot. We ordered the tasting menu which was yummy excpet one of the items was missing as per the pic and the description and when we queried it, the lady in the kitchen told us she had replaced it with something else with no further explanation. The portions were small (the dips are tiny) and 3 out of the 5 smoothies were "unavailable." When a Vietnamese family arrived, the waitress moved the one and only fan to blow directly on them, when we adjusted it to blow on both of us, she just moved it on to them again. This happened twice!! In the end we asked the other family if we could please adjust the fan slightly to blow on both of us and they were very happy to do so. So our experience was mixed. Very nice food but pricey with small portions and very unfriendly staff that despite our best efforts to be polite and complimentary and friendly made us feel very unwelcome. (Ps we are both vegans and yoga teachers and very friendly people, but this was the worst staff experience we've had in 6 weeks in Vietnam.)

My favorite restaurant in Hanoi - Edit
I came here for breakfast and then took a yoga class. The restaurant is vegetarian, but has many vegan options. The menu is also clearly labeled which dishes and vegan and which are vegetarian. I ordered the healthy muesli bowl (vegan) and a coffee. It was very delicious, and I will hopefully be coming back again. It can be difficult to find though as you have to walk through another little shop first and up stairs. The sign says zenith yoga.

LOVE this place! - Edit
A little hard to find (the sign still says 'zenith yoga' and you have to go through a little shop first) but definitely worth going there. The tasting platter is an amazing mix between Vietnamese snacks revisited and mediterranean foods (eggplant, hummus, pita bread, sundried tomatoes) and cost us 220k for 2. The kombucha and chocolate cake were delicious and the smoothies are out of this world. Also, the interior is so cute and peaceful.
