There is a while menu of vegan options—from starters, to naan and rice, to entrées. We loved everything!! We split an order of naan and rice, and got two entrées: the vegan butter chicken and the vegan tofu tikka. Both were delicious! I highly recommend Ambrosia!

Perfect! Love it when there’s a Vegan Menu … I Ordered the Vegan Chana Masala ( asked for spicy) and a vegan roti and it was Delicious the atmosphere was relaxing with calm musics, fairy lights and candles. I would definitely recommend.

This is my second trip here - after the first visit, I knew I'd be back. Great food and service with a nice ambiance. And what I really love is their vegan menu ( yes, they have non- vegan choices too). I thought the servings were large and the prices reasonable. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Easily one of the best restaurants in the area. They have an entire vegan menu, and every single thing I tried absolutely slapped, and I don’t say that lightly. The atmosphere is absolutely fantastic too!

I went to the location on cannery row but couldn’t find it here. I just ordered the the vegetarian appetizer sampler (which is also vegan) it had great flavor, good portion and a delicious dipping sauce on the side. Staff was friendly, place looked clean. I ordered to go due to pandemic rules and ate it at the beach. I would definitely go back to try their main dishes.

Great selection on the vegan menu. Ordered vegan butter chicken which was made from soy and it was amazing. The curry was full of flavour and the vegan soy chicken had a nice texture I asked for veg to be added to it which they did! Only thing that was bad was the brown rice it was over cooked and really mushy. I would defiantly go back as so many vegan items on the menu that I wanted to try.

I would love to give 5 stars but can’t as it’s not technically a vegan restaurant!😒on holiday here and this was fantastic they gave me a full vegan menu (just for vegan food, amazing!!!) of delicious Indian dishes to choose from including ‘veganised’ versions from the main menu (as many of the vegetarian dishes listed on the main menu are not vegan) so lots of choice, best vegan Indian food I’ve had (been vegan for 12 years!!) and my vegetarian mum and dad were happy too!😄quick service, pretty lights in the restaurant and helpful staff! I got two curries from the vegan menu (as it was too hard to choose one) and rice and anything I couldn’t finish I shared with my parents so sharing is an option too if you can’t decide😄fab!!!! Definitely go if you are in the area, reasonable prices too around 10 dollars for a main dish😄sorry i didn’t try any of the wines or beers or cocktails so might need to ask about which are vegan if you want to try these😄delicious, thank you for making this (vegan) Brit abroad feel so welcome and catered for with such delicious food and healthy options too!:)

The food here was very good. However the service was lacking. I sHowed up at lunch time and there was a buffet. I ordered from the menu because there were only a few vegan items on the buffet. There were several servers and it was if they didn’t know what each other was supposed to be doing. When I arrived it took several minutes before anyone greeted and seated me. Again it could have just been the buffet. Shrug.

This restaurant is not completely vegan or vegetarian, but they have a large selection of both. They have an entire separate vegan menu, as well as several vegan options on the standard menu. As others have mentioned, there was a bit of a language barrier, but that didn't cause much trouble, because we just pointed to the menu and told the waiter what food we'd like. It seems like the serving sizes are big enough to be split among 2-4 people. All our food was DELICIOUS and seriously hit the spot on a nice cloudy day.

We went for dinner on a Saturday evening on reading that they have a separate vegan menu section. When we announced we wanted vegan, they made sure our menus had the vegan insert. Good start.
Read moreOur server was very nice, but there was a language issue I think. He asked several times if I was also vegetarian. I wasn't picking up on what he meant, and repeated that I was vegan. He finally clarified by asking if I ate meat. Ehm, no. (I'm guessing the thought vegan related only to dairy.)
We ordered an appetizer (some kind of fritter) off the vegan menu. It was tasteless and dry. Maybe they're supposed to be that way, but we won't be getting those again. The rest of the food was very good.
My wife had wanted the one vegan soup they had on the menu. We were told they did not have it. Later she ordered the one vegan dessert, and once again we were told they didn't have it. Mind, this was a Saturday evening, not some off middle of the week day.
Overall, we'll probably go again next time we're in Monterey. The server was friendly and wanted to be helpful, but should have been better trained. A restaurant that has a vegan menu should explain what that means to the servers.

This place is always a must-visit when my partner and I visit Monterey. They are one of the only restaurants in Monterey to actually have separate, entirely vegan menu (which is particularly great for an Indian restaurant--paratha made without ghee or butter? FABULOUS!)
