Comfort food elevated - Edit
This long-established restaurant offers a plant based 3 course tasting menu, which we had for dinner. The atmosphere of their terrace is comfy Mediterranean and the whole team is outstandingly friendly. Knowing that my friend and I are vegan, they still brought us beforehand a dip which wasn’t, and if I hadn’t intuitively been suspicious and asked, they wouldn’t have noticed. Thankfully , they quickly swapped it for guacamole.

The only downside for me was the lack of more protein, which in this case happily wasn’t equivalent to leaving hungry, as the portion sizes were generous.

Fine-Dining for Vegans in Nueva Santa Ponsa - Edit
Head Chef Jens Bräuning knows vegan cooking and he is very open about it. One of his three dinner menus is vegan. And it is absolutely delicious. Surprising, flavorful, and creative are three words I would use to describe his cooking.
Read moreWe loved the tomato tartar in all its tastiness. The main course sounds like a classic "simple" stuffed zucchini with vegan bolognese but as always Jens adds interesting spices and flavors to it to make it something special. When I read that the dessert was the head chef´s favorite baby porridge I was confused at first. But the baked banana, the vegan ice cream, and the porridge went very well together.
Overall a great experience and yet another high-end restaurant in Mallorca that chooses to introduce vegan menus. I love it!
Pros: delicious food! , friendly staff, big spacious terrace
Cons: a bit pricey - but definitely worth it!
